Heliotrope Hotel

"What a lovely stay! We visited Bellingham only for one night. We stayed in theTwin Sisters two bedroom suite. It was perfect for my husband and me and our adult daughter. We thought it would be interesting to have a room right off the lobby, but it was wonderful to play games and grab coffee in the am. The staff was helpful, friendly, and they did a great job asking other guests to be considerate. Will definitely be back when we come back to the area to enjoy the many trails and parks."

"At the price point it's comfortably better than the other alternatives in Bellingham & the service is great. The locally-brewed beers in the fridge for arrival is a nice touch after long days of traveling; access to nearby restaurants, services, and transit is good, too."

"Stayed at the Heliotrope for 2 days from the Midwest for a work-trip and loved this cute renovated boutique motel. It is situated right in the center of 3 great neighborhood’s to explore with a great brewery and food trucks down the street. The room was extremely clean and it was great to have a fridge in the room with access to a microwave, coffee and tea in the hub. The staff was very polite and attentive to answer all my questions with recommendations to ensure I had a great trip. The fire pit, dog area, and the hub were such an added bonus. I can’t wait to visit and stay at the Heliotrope again!"

"A very quaint place and enjoyable for sure. I'd say my only nit is the noise from traffic on the road is quite audible. Maybe the doors and windows are not robust enough to block the sounds? There are rooms in the back of the property, maybe ask to stay in one of those if possible. Otherwise a fine value for your money."

"A modern retro feel to this quiet hotel that welcomes dog(s). Perfect for tour long term stay but would be great for short term as well. Cascades room made it a surprisingly pleasant experience for our unplanned circumstances. Comfortable bed in separate room, very quiet and convenient place to stay."
