Shamrock Motel,

"I had a single room queen sized bed. It had the following amenities: 4 layers of blankets, 2 pillows (they were too big to allow for a straight spine while sleeping) heater, microwave, dresser, tv stand and drawers, clothes rack with 2 hangars, shower, sink, alarm clock. Additionally, they provide 2 face soap and 2 shampoo single use in plastic. Why I give it 4 stars: No hot water on a very cold night and it is not the cleanest (but its a cheap motel, its mostly what is expected). They have Wi-Fi but it is not very fast. Wifi speeds from Ookla speedtest: DOWNLOAD Mbps = 17.39 UPLOAD Mbps = 17.59"

"I made the stupid mistake of booking this hotel before reading the reviews. I arrived fearing a dirty room, bad service, etc. What I received was a warm reception, a large well finished room, impeccably clean and everything worked just fine. I highly recommend the Shamrock Hotel and plan to stay here again."

"When i stayed here the guy at the main desk reeked of pot. My sheets had dried blood on them and my toilet did not flush and my doir handle was broken. Will never be staying here again. Very dirty place"

"I was reading the reviews and couldn't believe the shamrock is still not clean and the owners are still rude. The last time my husband and I stayed at the shamrock they never changed the sheets from previous guest plus we found a dirty stiff sock in-between the sheets. We slept on top of the bed without blankets . The floor was very dirty and I couldn't believe they thought that was ok to rent to people . They either didn't have housekeepers or theirs forgot to clean the room we stayed in. Funny thing though they made the bed but didn't bother changing the sheets . Confirmed by the sock. I think they must not change the sheets for new guests unless they are totally noticeable ...very gross if you think about it ."
