Wingate Heritage Inn 151 McLeod Road, Bellingham, WA 98226

"My wife and I stayed here in 2021 when it was under different management. Our experience at that time was absolutely wonderful, so we recommended it to several friends and family members who came to see us get married this past weekend. Upon arriving, there were already complications with a few of our visitors' reservations such as my aunt who had specifically asked for joining rooms and was told they had them, but once they arrived, they were told the combining rooms were unavailable even though they had made reservations for them weeks before. Fortunately, they were able to get rooms across from each other. The next morning, I went to say hi to everyone as they had come in late the night before. Staff was very rude about having an extra body show up. Said there was too much foot traffic. I was literally only there saying hi to my visitors, who I recommended have stayed here. The manager said there would be a discounted price at the end of everyone's stay but did not apply any discounts. There's so much more I could say, but I'll just leave it at this. Unless you want to be watched like a hawk and overcharged, I do not recommend staying here."

"One of the worst stays I have ever experienced, no breakfast, it had snowed and nothing was shoveled I had to walk through a foot of snow up stairs to get to my room manger swore that it was shoveled and I was lying,( pic of snow on stairs included)no television they claimed the cable was out from the snow earlier in the morning but the WiFi worked so I called Xfinity and they claimed no outages, manager did not care at all, the room was also dirty, i will never stay here again"

"Had a similar experience like Shane, who posted 5 months ago. Someone was staying in the room. Walked in luckily they weren't there at the time. The manager didn't seem to believe me, and I had to walk over there with her. I got a different room, but unfortunately, my confidence in this place was gone. Didn't want someone coming into my room in the middle of the night, etc. I was supposed to stay all week, but after a few hours, I packed up and changed hotels. Got charged for the day plus the next day. Wow, thanks. The second room was clean, but every time someone walked by the bed would shake. Hallways smelled like vomit. I'm not sure what's going on with Wyndham?"

"Beautiful hotel in a pretty location. Very nice room with a wet bar set up. Clean and well appointed with everything we needed…not just the bare minimum of towels, washcloths and cups. Wonderful breakfast with an attendant always there replenishing coffee, juice, milk, eggs, sausage etc. Stayed at several hotels across the US northwest in the last week and this was by far the best and very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again"
