Northgate Park, located at 9415 North Geneva Avenue in Portland, Oregon, is a popular tourist attraction and park managed by Portland Parks & Recreation. The park is currently undergoing improvements to provide better access for all visitors, including those with disabilities as per the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan. These improvements include replacing pathways, drinking fountains, picnic tables, benches, and making restroom and spectating enhancements. Construction is expected to be completed by early July 2022.
Visitors can currently enjoy the park as most of the construction is finished, with intermittent work still ongoing. The splash pad and playground are set to open to the public on June 25th. Access to the park is best from N. Fessenden St, with an entrance also available on N. McKenna Ave.
Phase Two of the project is underway, with construction fencing around the playground area in the south portion of the park. The playground will be temporarily closed during this phase, with an estimated completion date of June 2022. The City of Portland ensures meaningful access to all its programs and services, including translation, interpretation, and accommodations. For more information, visitors can call 503-823-4000.

"A lot of unnecessary things have happened here 2 deaths and 1 critically gunned down all in 2023 and we voted for the aquatic park to be built here smh kinda scary folks. The crazy part of it all is that in 2011 2012 2013and 2014 I took my kids here and felt no harm but since those shootings I can't say I feel safe there anymore."

"Found my way here easily, park is undergoing improvements which is great, just had to be creative in finding suitable parking. Great spot and will be even nicer after renovations conclude. Great neighborhood and play space for kids. Fine field for rugby amongst other sports."
