"First time I came here I was being pressured into a piercing I didn't want (I came for a double helix and he told me I should do a conch). Consequential times I had appointments with other staff and enjoyed myself quite a bit, both with sizing jewelry, buying pieces, or getting another piercing. I thought I'd pop in today and get a piece I've been wanting for awhile, and pretty much knew exactly what I wanted. The whole interaction from the moment I walked in the door was uncomfortable and awkward. I told the single staff member what I was wanting, and he dropped our interaction right as he was about to pull some earrings out to attend to the two other customers who apparently had just been pierced. He checked them out and another client walked in, and he greeted her warmly and started checking her in and then told me he was going to take care of his appointment first but I was more than welcome to keep waiting. I was already ready when I walked in the door, ready after an additional ten minutes, and didn't feel like continuing to wait while being ignored. Missed out on a guaranteed sale. Why aren't there more staff there still after everyone left? Taking my business elsewhere. I think staff left for a good reason."

"Gage was awesome! He did an ear tattoo for me and it turned out beautiful. I went to quite a few shops and was super impressed with Adorn. It was clean and beautiful inside. Gage was super friendly and took the time to discuss with me what I wanted and answer all my questions. He was very professional and engaged with my requests. "i came here for a nose piercing, mine fell out and i just needed something to put in it before it closed. they made me aware that they’d need to size it and measure it since i didn't know the gauge (it wasn’t that serious to me, just didn’t want it to be big), that it takes 10 minutes to sterilize. also, that they normally do sizing early and i came like close to 30 minutes till close. i wasn’t aware i had to make an appointment to just buy a stud for my nose. the piercer walked over, told me to look up for what felt like 6 seconds, suggested 18 gauge. we walked over, they insisted i buy this $10 bar to install my piercing since they said it’ll be hell to put it in on my own. the piercing was $20 and then i saw they charged me $20 for the piercer to look into my nose for less than a minute. my first experience at adorn in portland was amazing! i got my septum repierced and bought the piercing for an all together total of $25. i honestly just think it was absurd to be charged an extra $20 for someone to glance at my nose. i appreciate the dedication to proper service, i just had the piercing for years and i didn’t want the whole run around. avoiding this location from now on :("

"Just finishing up 2nd sleeve in 6 months. Jacie Lee was my artists and has been amazing every step of the way. She helped realize my ideas for the sleeves which I was a pain with but she showed great skill and patience with me through the hole process. Adorn staff and shop where amazing super clean and always friendly. My wife also has had multiple tattoos done with Jacie and Adorn and her experiences where amazing as well. 6 stars from me I highly recommend!!!"
