"Horrible pharmacy drive up service. I showed up 13 minutes before the drive up window closed for their lunch. I was behind 1 other customer. They took 13 minutes to get helped, I was on my lunch break. When I pulled up after waiting 13 plus minutes, the person says: it's our lunch to come back in 40 minutes. I told them I was at lunch and my prescriptions was rdy, I just got a text earlier in the day. I explained I have been in line for 14 minutes now and the time it took for you to tell me to come back, you could have gave me my prescriptions. He shut the window and walked off. Rude, unprofessional, ignorant and zero customer service. My wife, sons and myself now get our prescriptions filled at Safeway. They are fast, helpful, courteous and professional. I no longer shop Walgreens for anything. I used to go by this Walgreens 5-6 a week. Been months now and they have made zero money from me, my family, most my friends that live near, co workers that are my union brothers plus all the neighbors I've told and they have had similar experiences with this Walgreens."
"I just relocated to Vancouver WA and needed to refill my scripts. I have a script for a generic statin that cost me $17 for a 90 day supply in Florida. Walgreens wanted to charge me $157 and they tried to do the same on a generic blood pressure medication boosting the price of a $7 script to $115 after their discount. They are simply attempting to rip people off."
"Cashier Stephanie was very rude and unprofessional. She was rolling her eyes, tapping her fingers and acting like it was hard for her to push buttons. I was mentioning to her that I had a digital coupon that should go through and suddenly she didn’t know how to do her job. I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the cashier we dealt with today. I then tried another transaction and she told her shift lead to don’t leave because he will need to void the transaction again. Joke was on her when the digital coupon did what it was suppose to do."
"Lead pharmacist (blonde) was very rude today regarding an insurance issue; I never speak to my own clients or anyone else this way. I raised my eyebrows and she tried to backtrack, but I would like to see an upfront effort to show some modicum of concern for customers. The pharmacy is not overwhelmed or busy, either. I also learned that Walgreens does not notify patients about insurance issues through its online portal or text system. This is not patient-centered care."
"I’ll start with the good and the reason it received two stars vs none. When my husband and I have gone to this Walgreens in the past to receive vaccinations the employees have been courteous and efficient and we had no complaints until recently. Now to the bad. My husband is on Medicare with private insurance. Three months ago he went to fill a prescription for Triamterene and was charged $22 for a 90 day supply. Since I had already looked up what the cost would be I was surprised it was $12 more. We questioned the pharmacy assistant and he stated that the price had already been deducted however it wasn’t reflected on the receipt. He explained that it would not show on the receipt. We questioned further asking him to contact our insurance company which pays for the prescription jointly with Medicare. That was when the senior assistant came over and started saying the medication would make my husband light headed and possibly cause him to fall so it needed to be processed directly through Medicare. HUH??!!!! She spoke to us like we were stupid. Just wanting to get the medication and go we did just that. Two months later we refilled somewhere else and low and behold the prescription for the same medication and same amount was $12 less. I’m not sure what’s going on at Walgreens regarding pricing but something is not right and we won’t be going back."
