"I just call the store spoke with Jesse and he spent quite a bit of time with me explaining all my different options for my project. He was very patient explain things I didn't understand and was extremely professional. I can't wait to be a customer soon thank you for all of your help!"
"After calling most the other lumber distributors in the area (SE Portland/Gresham) Mr. Plywood is the only one with white oak. First time in there and the selection of woods both solid and plywoods is great, the prices are very fair and the customer service was better then I have had at any store in the area for months. 5+stars. This will be my go-to for all my woodworking projects from now on."
"Was there 1/26/24 to buy some 2x12s. What I took home was perfectly straight, no cupping, no warping, minimal moisture. Everything they had looked the same. Overall excellent quality wood. Service was perfect - I was greeted, but not harassed. Multiple employees were readily available; one even held the exit door for me when bringing my cart to my car. Will DEFINITELY be brining my business back to them again and again."
"I discovered Mr. Plywood because my ex and I wanted to build shelves. Fast forward a year, the boards were still on the floor, and… well, they weren’t the only thing left unfinished. But if you’re searching for a place to find reasonably priced lumber, with great customer service - look no further. The employees are very helpful and they’ll make sure that you find the right wood for the job. Ok, are we not doing phrasing anymore? This is an Archer reference. Seriously though, this is a fantastic place and you really should shop local."
"I love this place! I built a plywood wall to enclose a large nook area in my home that we had turned into my daughter’s room. It was my first time framing, plus building a door. As a woman with a lot of curiosity, but not a ton of experience, building supply stores often make me shrink into myself. I knew I could do this project, but just needed solid advice, plus I needed the pieces cut to size because I only have a chop saw. I worked with Nate. I brought in my plans and ideas. He spent two hours with me, off-and-on. In the end, I left with all my materials (except door pulls, which I got at Hippo Hardware). We really brainstormed and went through a couple scenarios before landing on a pocket door setup. If I had just gone to Home Depot, I wouldn’t have gotten the expertise or support I did at Mr. Plywood. Plus, it’s a local store. This was the first time ever that I did a project and didn’t need to make a run out for extra supplies in the middle."
