"Winks has everything you need and more. They have hard to find drawer pulls, antique nails, barn door hardware, and other exotic hardware that can only be found in the remote areas of the internet. I love shopping here! It is my favorite hardware store."
"This is the best hardware store in the Pacific Northwest. I have yet to be able to stump them, and, as a contractor, I have built some pretty unique and unusual structures."
"This is one of the best, small hardware stores in Portland. They have a plethora of hard to find items and a perfect place to find that one small bolt you need for your project."
"Excellent helpful staff! I got everything I needed for shelves at my new barbershop. Glad that winks is my go to close by hardware shop."
"Winks is the best hardware store in the city. 5 stars every time but once, and I write this only so Winks can know and improve: i needed one stainless steel screw for a piece of hardware they sell. I went in to buy it, grabbed the door hardware sample they have on display and was able to point to the exact screw i needed. But for some reason they refused to back it out even the tiniest bit to match the screw. It was very weird and unusual for such an awesome and helpful store. They sold me to wrong screw three times that week. I eventually had the right diameter and threading but still too long and had to hacksaw it down at home to make it fit. By far the best hardware store in the city in terms of selection (for what they sell), quality, knowledge, and customer service. Just that one weird experience that felt like I was in the twilight zone."
