"Just now the armed security guy with the beard has been following me around the entire store. Do a better job being discreet even more so when you are armed."
"Just poor service. If I took over at store manager I'd increase sales 25% over night. This is why retail is going online. No customer service in brick and motar. I had $200 ready to buy shoes. No one to help. Just stupid business practices"
"We were there for kids soccer cleats. The staff was extremely helpful and got whatever sizes we needed right away."
"Castle has the best customer service. We have been shopping at this location for more than a decade and never had an employee go out of his way like he has. Very patient with customers and motivated to help. We’re definitely looking for him every time we shop here."
"This is absolutely the worst Sporting Goods store in Tacoma. Avoid it at all costs. Go to Big 5, save yourself some frustration. I went there last week to buy some stuff for my son. Soccer season starts soon and he needed some cleats. So I was there, in the shoe isle looking for cleats. Not only was I not approached by anyone, I was completely ignored by the employee standing 10 feet away. After some time and some body language of frustration, another employee yelled from 20 feet away asking if I needed help. I told him what I needed and he directed me upstairs. There were no employees upstairs and only the display shoes were out, so employees were required for purchase. Anyway I found what I needed, took a lap around the upstairs, looking for an employee and back to the cleat section. After about 10 minutes I rang the service bell, 5 minutes later an employee appears and asks me what I need. I show her the shoe and give her the sizes I wanted to try. She disappeared again and returned about 5 minutes later with the box with the other shoe, from display in it and leaves. Doesn't say anything. We'll I had a complete pair of shoes but they didn't fit right. I looked around to see if maybe she was helping someone else. Nope, there was nobody else around. I left empty handed, went to Big 5, spent 250 dollars and was in and out in 5 minutes. Great service at Big 5. Go there."
