"Bob Burrud came highly recommended from friends. Their dog's behavior was a showing example of Bob's capabilities, so I was eager to work with him. Bob has made training my male Doberman puppy, Archer, so much more manageable and less frustrating. Before he visited my home, Bob spent hours on the phone with me, answering questions and giving tips on arranging Archer's crate and exercise pen, house training, managing emotions when dealing with a young puppy, and much more. He spent at least 2 hours on the phone over the course of 3 or 4 conversations before he ever saw a dollar from me! Bob's dedication to dogs and their owners is remarkable. The puppy kindergarten class has been fun and worthwhile as well. Working on the training exercises in a group setting while giving the dogs invaluable socialization time is great. Thanks to Bob, in the few months I’ve had him, Archer's play biting has stopped. He was completely house trained by 5 months old. Bob was getting results from Archer within minutes of meeting him. Bob would tell me before he did something what he was doing, why, and how Archer should react. Sure enough, every single time, Archer did what Bob expected. It was amazing to watch! He would then ask me to practice with Archer in front of him so he knew I understood the exercises. Bob is very generous with his time and his rates are unbeatable. I was told the consultations last about an hour. During the first consultation, Bob's primary concern was getting Archer to respond and making sure I understood what he was saying. He didn't seem to be keeping track of time at all. He ended up staying for an hour and a half. It just showed that he's willing to put in the effort regardless of how long it takes. I talked to a few different trainers in the area and they all wanted more money for fewer sessions than Bob. I highly recommend that you call Bob Burrud as soon as possible if you are training a puppy or dog."
