"I started seeing Dr. Ron in March of 2022. I had a really tough time with Covid in November 2021 spending eight days in the hospital alone except for one visit by the doctor each morning for two minutes and occasional visits from nurses who weren't happy treating Covid patients. Very lonely, very scary. Then I'm home for four days and get blood clots in the lungs. Back to the hospital and now on oxygen. Also very scary and now can barely function. Then starts a bucket load of life problems that cause severe stress. My first visit with Dr. Ron was enlightening. I was very untrusting of course and very scared about much in life which I never used to be. And of course I didn't want to open up about anything. Since I wasn't saying a whole lot Dr. Ron just kept asking questions which worked great for that first visit and afterwards. As I went for more visits I warmed up to Dr. Ron and really started to share my experiences with him and get relief from his visits. Everyone kept saying to me, "take it day-by-day." I really hated that phrase, but it was true. What other option was there right? I often said to myself, at least I see Dr. Ron in two days (or 5 or whatever it was). It's hard to seek help, I think, especially if you're a guy. I try to tough things out and work through them on my own and with God's help. But there's nothing wrong with getting professional help for the really tough times. I know I have a friend in Dr. Ron always. He is now a trusted person in my life. He let's you know he understands by talking about the problems he's had in his life. I was often like, "Really!!!" I can't tell you how helpful hearing about other peoples problems helps, especially when it's from your psychologist sitting right in front of you. A friend I know always says, "where there are people, there are problems." Life is full of people and full of problems. Not trying to be the psychologist here because I'm far from that. But Dr. Ron is a good man who had and has my best interest in heart and mind. I know he would do a great job for you. Oh, and I paid out of pocket for my visits. Very reasonable fees and no insurance companies even though I think they take insurance. Call them and find out. Go see Ron, feel better, figure out your problems, and grow!!! Oh, and my life is way better now. I feel like I'm back to my normal self, but have learned a tremendous amount."
