"Trek is a good brand but it's the people at this store that made the experiences exceptional. Matthew and Muuqi at the shop helped me with the warranty process for a frame that had started to develop a crack. They were efficient and communicative throughout and made the entire journey better than any outcome I could've expected. Dave did a solid job building up the bike with great attention to detail. If you're looking for a bike where the company has the vertical integration from the local shop all the way to the HQ to support the customer, Trek is the answer."
"My 30-year old daily rider, a Trek 950 Singletrack, was recently stolen from my garage, so I was in the market for a new bike. I had a lot to learn, as bike technology and features have evolved so much over the last 30 years. The Trek website was very helpful for me in determining the features I would want on my new bike. My salesman at Trek Bicycle San Francisco Cow Hollow, Matt Furnish, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He did not try to up-sell me. I took the FX 3, that I had selected on the website, out for a test ride. I was very pleased with the hydraulic disc brakes and somewhat surprised that the 10 gears pretty much functionally replaced the 21 I had available on my old bike."
"This Trek visit was very impressive. While using the rental service, I was very satisfied with the service that I did my best to enjoy the ride in the same condition as the bicycle I normally use. I took the parts I usually used, and they gave me careful consideration so that I could use them without any inconvenience, and provided me with a healthy fitting so that the bicycle itself could fit my body. If I have another chance to visit again, I will choose Trek again without hesitation. And thankfully, I am very grateful to Matt for providing me with a special gift."
"The rental booking and bike collection experience was a breeze and fuzz free. Technician Lucas (sorry if I got the name wrong) was helpful and friendly. He setup my bike based on bike fitting data I provided and fine tuned based on the Domane SL6 size I booked. The fitting was pretty good. He even add a Garmin handle bar mount for my Garmin Edge. It would have been 10/10 if not for the unexpected quality issue with the Bontaga wheel. I got a puncture on the front wheel just after the Baker-Barry Tunnel, the sealant was not able to seal up the puncture. So got to put on the provided spare inner tube, but the rim tape has a plastic gasket at the valve hole. The hole of the plastic gasket is not fully aligned with the valve hole of the rim. The valve of spare inner tube was of the correct diameter, which means misaligned hole will not fit the valve. The problem was addressed later by some improvised method. Overall the Domane SL6 rental gave me a good memory of the ride to Sausalito, Paradise Drive and Hawk Hill. Highly recommended."
