"I've been here a little more than a year, and just signed on for another year. When I decided to sell my house and downsize, I decided that I wanted to live in a dog-friendly community close to Lake Superior. Our grounds are spectacular - I walk through the lawn along the lake almost every day and never get tired of this view. I love my screen porch, and eat breakfast out there every morning in the warm months. Even though my apartment faces London Road, I feel like I'm still in a neighborhood because the neighbors walk their dogs in the grass along the parking lot. The rooms in my apartment are large, and there is plenty of storage space. My closet leading to the attached bathroom is so big that I could almost put a futon there and use it as a guest bedroom! The buildings and grounds are well maintained, and we have outstanding on-site office crew, and maintenance / cleaning people. Last year with our record snowfall, the parking lots and driveways were plowed more often than my city street had been! If I don't want to stay on our grounds, I can walk to Glensheen or take my bike to 40th Ave E, cross London Road at the light, and get on Lakewalk for a ride to Brighton Beach or Canal Park, without any hills! The neighbors are friendly, and the office sponsors opportunities for us to celebrate special events together such as National Chocolate Cake Day or Taco Day, and they supply the treats!"

"Moved here recently and LOVE IT. The area is nice and quiet, perfect for being in grad school and my neighbors have just been lovely. The maintenance staff is INCREDIBLE as my previous experience with maintenance in other rental housing hasn't been great. They are super quick and attentive. Leasing staff, particularly Shelby, has been great and it's so nice that they know me on a first name basis, despite have a lot of other residents. Highly recommend living here."

"I moved in to Les Chateaux within the past month. I wanted to share my experience. I am a Property Manager, and have many years of experience in the maintenance field which helps me to assess properties well. Les Chateaux has been an extremely positive experience, from the lease up, conditions of the property, to maintenance, I have been impressed. The property is dog friendly, and has a fenced-in off leash area, which is great. Utilities other than electric are included, as is free laundry - with very good, high quality washer and dryers on each floor. There is a dedicated housekeeper who keeps the common spaces very clean. The staff decorates pleasantly for each season, and of course, the location is absolutely beautiful, as well as convenient. Upon moving into my apartment, I was impressed by the unit turn process at Les Chateaux. The unit was CLEAN, very clean. I have moved into rentals before that I had to spend a lot of time cleaning. Not the case here. I really cannot say enough about the Property Management and Maintenance at Les Chateaux. I definitely recommend this facility."

"I love the place I call "Home" where I've lived for almost 3 years! Les Chateau has provided for me a very comfortable apartment, friends, beautiful grounds, a garden and most of all, a beautiful view of our Lake Superior! The staff is friendly, considerate and hard working...especially this summer. Connie, Joe and Dave have been constantly busy turning apartments over, in an amazingly short time, getting them ready for new residents! Emaly has been an excellent manager since she came aboard...getting necessary stuff DONE, along with the help of Shelby! Together, they've organized monthly get-togethers, which have been thoroughly enjoyed by the residents!! Thanks for all you do...it does NOT go unnoticed!"
