"Stayed on the 8th floor. Pools are located on the 3rd and 8th floors. Free parking. Lobby on the 3rd floor. The lovely Lyric restaurant on the second floor. Yep. Got lost on the elevators. Need a key to stop the elevator at ANY floor. Great staff. Housekeeping helped with lost and found tremendously. Lyric convention room was a nice place for the wedding."

"Haven’t stayed here yet, but will be in April. Had a death in the immediate family and funeral is the same weekend as our stay. Tried to change the dates of our stay, and even with a death in the family, because we booked the non-refundable stay, we can’t even just change our dates. Not looking for a refund, just want to change our dates so the hotel is still getting our money. Even spoke with the front desk manager, who showed no compassion or empathy, said there was nothing that could be done. So now we have to skip my grandmas funeral so we don’t throw our $550 down the drain. This will be the first and last time we stay with this hotel."

"Great location for what we needed for the weekend. Front desk was very friendly when we checked in. Easy to get around the hotel for being as large as it is. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Good security measures in place for guests and decent amount of parking in the ramp. Enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again."

"Room: The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. There is no vent in the bathroom. A small refrigerator on the floor could be difficult for someone older. The room is outdated. I did pay for a view, which was really not a view. Don't waste your money for this upgrade. Service: The front desk gentleman was pleasant. He informed me that on an extended stay, they do not service your room unless you ask for it, which includes not replacing towels unless asked. He did ask for my parking ticket and exchanged it out right away for a free pass. We did use the shuttle one day. We waited for about 45 minutes to go, and over an hour after we called for pickup. Location: There are no "official front doors" from the street. You must pull into the garage/ramp to find the entrance. On 2 of the nights, we had a difficult time finding parking. The ramp itself is very tight around the corners, even for my car. Not an area to travel by yourself at night."

"Would easily be a 5-star experience if they offered a continental breakfast...I thought that was kind of Holiday Inn's thing? Anyway, the room was great, with a comfy bed and a good TV. Plus the view of Lake Superior are incredible from the upper floors. The check-in and check-out experience was quick and friendly. The front desk was also very friendly and responsive when I called down to ask for a few things to be delivered to my room. Would definitely stay again...and would absolutely love it if they added a continental breakfast."
