"If I could give zero stars....most incompetent front desk...billing staff and therapists I've ever encountered."

"We first found this place on a Google search after every other facility in our area had almost a year waiting list. I called and they were able to get my son in relatively quickly and I was so grateful and thankful. The psychiatrist Dana has been pretty great in addressing my son's needs and concerns which is where the 2 stars come from-she recommend counseling. Why only 2 stars As far as the counseling side goes I have been incredibly frustrated and disappointed. My son was first set up with a counselor who was nice but he did not feel comfortable with nor have a connection. He met with his counselor one time and walked out knowing this wasn't the right fit. I attempted calling the facility for over 2 months trying to get him in with another counselor and couldn't get a return call. After I threatened to contact management I was then told I was not on hipaa, but every other conversation I have ever had they have verified there was a HIPAA on file for me with no problems. Okay, my son will fill out another one and I want to have a copy of it and to verify you received it. We accomplished this and then I wait 2 weeks still hear nothing so I give them a call. Come to find out he was denied a transfer to a different counselor. No explanation, and no body informed us. So as far as counseling goes if you do not do well with your first assigned counselor you're out of luck apparently. I would recommend the phyciatric side only-Tyler and Tara have been wonderful, kind and accomidating-Especially important in a mental health field! But I have been talk to rudely, calls never returned by Patient intake and scheduling. I've tried hard to keep calm and speak nicely as I understand staff shortages and computer systems (which are always freezing up hen I'm on the phone) but when mental health is involved-there needs explanation and more urgency."

"I would give NO stars if that was possible. From the very beginning I had to leave multiple messages just to get someone to call me back to schedule an appointment. It looks months to finally get an appointment scheduled. We were told when we scheduled that the specific provider we would be meeting with would be able to do virtual visits (this was the ONLY reason we hung in there with all the office issues to get established with this provider to then do virtual visits). When we finally got to the appointment, the provider informed us that no - virtual visits were not an option. We decided not to return. After I paid my bill, we had an insurance issue and my insurance reprocessed the claim for that date of service. I have now been attempting to get my money back since the end of July. I leave messages and no one calls back. I have emailed them every 6 weeks since. When they do respond there is an excuse and it is always another 4-6 week. The last email that I got on Jan 20 indicated that my refund was approved in Nov but that all refunds from Nov have gone missing. They provided no solution and no timeline."

"Insanely expensive for subpar services. Won’t tell you the price of services up front either so you’re just waiting to get stuck with a bill. First appointment was over $400 with insurance, and they recommended weekly appointments. Who can afford to pay the price of a mortgage in counseling? Absolutely crazy"

"Sherman Counseling refused to give us their cash price for counseling services when our insurance company would not pay their claim. They stated they would only charge it "going forward." This for a counselor who suggested weekly "date nights" as a means of a relationship fix. I could have read that in Cosmo for free. Very disappointed in their willingness to work with people during the pandemic."
