"Brought my daughter in for an urgent care visit. She had the exact symptoms under urgent care treatments according to Aurora BayCare's website. We ended up getting billed for an emergency room visit. It seems like a common occurrence based off other patient reviews. Go in for urgent care, and they will find a way to make it an emergency room visit."
"This location is NOT an urgent care and will be billed as an ER visit (you may think you are using the urgent care and not the ER it is connected to, but its a trick). Even for a strep test. They are tricking everybody into thinking it is an urgent care and you are billed as an emergency room visit. They don't let you know before your appointment. Calling billing will be no help. Go to De Pere for a true urgent care, or a better company that isn't trying to trick you."
"Went in for rash per doctor's recommendation. Asked receptionist if they were very busy with a wait as I could go to a different location. Receptionist rolled her eyes and then stated they've been busy all day. And it's my choice if I want to leave...all while doing her hair..clearly your busy..but being nice isn't hard..left...don't recommend this hospital anymore."
"We had a similar experience to many of the other reviewers. Brought my son in during Urgent Care hours to have them look at what seemed to be Strep Throat. They gave us the impression that it would be Urgent Care, then we got the bill later and they billed it as an Emergency visit. An "emergency" strep test... Cost us over $1000 to learn never to trust them about charging Urgent Care versus Emergency."
"Went in to have a sinus infection diagnosed so I could start antibiotics. This was a 15 minute appointment. I now have two bills. $150 from Aurora and $285 from BayCare. I caution anyone going here for urgent care related issues. $150 is ok. $435 is absurd. Update: Everyone I spoke to regarding this matter was very pleasant and thorough in their explanation of why I had two separate charges. You can expect to be charged twice. Once from Aurora for their facility use and once from BayCare for the physician. I hope this helps anyone seeking Urgent Care services."
