"The appointment was on time and efficiently completed. I was there for a bone density study and waited less than 5 minutes. The tech was clear in their explanations. My results were in my chart by days end."
"Dr Shire and I believe Emily ( I apologize if I’m mistaken ) were thorough in clarification of steps involved. More importantly I had a similar experience 20 years ago with not good results initially with tremendous pain. Empathetic in listening, addressed my concerns and asked if I wanted to continue. Experiences in past never showed this level of concern and understanding. Thank you to outstanding medical providers and very thoughtful and understanding individuals"
"I have been to this location many times for speciality appointments. I have a few appointments coming up with two different specialists soon. I am not worried about the quality of care, attention to details, and my general well-being. As with all my visits, my questions were always answered patiently and a plan of treatment was always provided .Even when I had a cat scan, I felt dizzy after the procedure. One of the techs held my hand and assured me everything was fine and helped me up. Thank You for the extra time and compassion I always receive."
"Providers and staff are great! My two suggestions are related to scheduling and facilities. 1) would be greatly appreciated if providers can avoid being on call for surgery at the same time they are scheduled at clinic. 2) Urology clinic really needs to install a second or even third bathroom in the clinic area itself. Every patient pretty much needs to provide a urine sample but there’s only one bathroom…very challenging!"
"I had a few horrible experiences here getting procedures done. The last was a nose surgery where they had to break my nose to repair my septum. Upon waking up in recovery on a Fri late afternoon, I had the worse headache of my life. I asked for something for the pain. I was told I couldn't have Tylenol because I'd had Tylenol earlier at home. It had been the proper amount of time to redose & they refused. I asked for something else to cover the pain & they gave me caffeine. They said they didn't have orders to give me anything else. I said I just had a nose job where they broke my nose & I can't have anything for the pain?! I was crying & could barely stand it. I was told it was late on a Friday & everyone had gone home. After awhile, I got Tylenol. Really a horrible experience when I can't get anything from a hospital for pain & got the same thing o can get at home (caffeine & Tylenol). I had to see my surgeon a few days later & I told him I was given nothing in recovery for pain & he couldn't believe it. I made the decision that day based on my visit that day... and a visit prior where something similar had happened years before... that I would no longer have surgery at 1 S. PARK. The rules & procedures they follow are worse than UW Hospital. If you have the choice of the hospital or surgery center... do not go to the surgery center. Never again!!!"
