"My kiddos love the "Rock Beach" as they call it! It's a small hidden gem, tucked back away from the road. Street parking is on 42nd Ave, there's not much parking, but it's a small beach. It's a short walk along a dirt path, then a bit of a precarious climb to get down to the actual beach. When the lake is lower and less choppy this is the PERFECT place for skipping (or just throwing) rocks. There are a few large rocks perfect for sunbathing in the summer and lots of small rocks for collecting, throwing, and skipping."
