"Nice, clean zoo and neat animals to see. Employees were all so nice and helpful. Enjoyed our time here."
"My girlfriend and I made this fun zoo a stop while up near Superior and Duluth for New Year's, and we had a terrific time! I loved that they had penny press machines, and the layout and animal assortments were rather unique! The employees were friendly, and we even saw the lion and tiger enjoying winter!"
"A fun zoo with lots of chances to get close to the animals. The nature trail was also very nice and informative. Loved the experience here"
"This was a nice little zoo that we visited. There were a good variety of animals that we got to see. We went during the fall and they had decorated the whole place for Halloween which we loved to see. They also had a little nature trail, which was nice to walk through. There were lots of informative signs about the animals and plants that you may come across in Minnesota. There was a little waterfall too. There was an area, which was my favorite, that had a nocturnal exhibit. You got to see a lot of the nocturnal animals doing stuff they would do at night. After we got through the zoo, we browsed the gift shop and got ice cream too. It was a pleasant experience and the kids loved it."
"Was very disappointed at the lack of care taken at the zoo. Display windows are smudged and glare almost to the point of low visibility. The entire place was overgrown and not well maintained. There are very few animals to see. The pictures provided are all the animals we saw the entire day. There are said animals in some areas, but it is so overgrown that you can't see anything. The highlight of the zoo trip was our granddaughter getting to feed the goats."
