"We love taking our little one to the aquarium! It's a great indoor activity to get out of the house in winter and it's educational! If you plan to visit 2-3 times a year then a membership might be worth it for you."
"I love this place. It's small enough to get a nice walk in and see all the wonderful animals. Great for kids as they have a lot of touch activities!"
"This was so much fun! We spent over three hours going through the exhibits. The staff was very friendly and super knowledgeable. They were able to answer any question we had about the animals and then some. We even had the opportunity to touch jellyfish, sturgeons, starfish, and shrimp. Something we had never done at other aquariums. I also enjoyed that they display information not just the types of animals they have but then also about the specific animals they have and where they were found, how old they are, and why they might not be able to survive in the wild."
"Loved it. There are stations to touch Jellyfish, and Sturgeon?! Definitely some unique experiences to be had! Everything here really is cool, and they are a sanctuary for local various injured and etc. Minnesotan animals as well. There's a gift shop named "Explorers Cove Gift shop", and penny smashers, so you definitely can get some souvenirs. Parking is 10 bucks for 5 hours, you can pay online, or at the Grey Kiosk at the front of the building."
"Fun aquarium with lots of touch pools. Great for kids with lots of interactive exhibits and some play areas. Possibly every kids dream of getting to watch otters slide while using their own kid slide too. Skunks were fun to was too. Also, great for adults with lots of informative exhibits and signage. Would go back. Spent about 2.5 hrs with a 2 year old, which was enough time to walk through all major areas."
