"Awesome!!! This is the best location ever. Love it. People are great. Everything is right here. The service is off the chain good. So glad I moved here! A+"
"Terrible terrible terrible. I woke up one day and was literally covered in what I found out to be bed bug bites. Now I know first hand I didn’t bring the bed bugs so it leaves me to believe that this place is infested with bed bugs. My body in my entire 30 years of life has never ever been so itchy. I hate to say it they should destroy the building to the ground and start all over again"
"This place is what you make of it. I would say most people would not enjoy living here, but it’s a great resource for people in a state of transition. I’ve made up my room nicely. I have everything I need and I’ve managed to organize my room very efficiently. Can’t beat the rent in San Diego. If you have a car, you will have to pay additional money for the parking garage next door, so keep that in mind. That adds an extra $200 to your expenses each month. Still a bargain compared to everything else around here though. Also, no internet here, so you better have a good phone plan. There are bottom of the barrel type people that live here, but if you keep to yourself and focus on yourself, it’s a great place to grow as a person. There are two grocery stores, a laundromat, and a 24 hour gym nearby, and of course you’re close to just about everything downtown."
"As i sit and think what is change only one thing comes to mind baby steps. From the time of old management to these few months with a new company that takes the time and efforts to make a change that is needed around here like regulating the bedbug issues moving old tenants in to brand new rooms and renovations of there old rooms . All the rooms now come with new floor ,paint, fan, bed ,sinks an much more my best advice to people is come see all the new changes that they have done under there new management company .."
"Like they say, its one step up from the streets. I have friends who live here. I use to live here. Its unfortunate that the people that live here have so very little, have even less due to the predatory nature of some of the people in the area. The building is currently undergoing new management. They railroaded in, fired some of the long term staff (gotta go in with a splash), and sent out a letter telling the guests that they are motivated and in a hurry to make changes. Oh they are in a hurry alright, more like full steam in the wrong direction. Take away the courtesy phones in the lobby, the towels in the rooms, the TOILET PAPER in the stalls. Toilet paper? Seriously? In an effort to save dollars, let's not forget the foundation of what a hotel is found on: customer service. And making a person feel like they are at a home away from home --even if this is the only home they have. To visit a guest upstairs, I have to pay 10 dollars. This jumps to 20 dollars after four in the afternoon. Wow. The Plaza up the street only charges 15 dollars for twenty four hours. Motel 6 only charges seven bucks for an additional guest. So I have to pay money to visit a friend in order to bring a little bit of hope and happiness into an otherwise grey day? That ten dollars may as well be a hundred to people at my socioeconomic level. If I had money like that, I would apply it in an effort to get him out of that place, not line the pockets of the powers that be. Ask youself: How much better can you eat? What can't you by that you can't already afford? No toilet paper? Where's the right and wrong in that?"
