Holiday Inn Express & Suites la Jolla – Windansea Beach, an IHG Hotel

"We came in pretty late during a holiday weekend and holiday inn came in a clutch we looked at multiple hotels and thankfully they had an open room. The service is great, the room was clean and organized. The location is perfect, safe area and not too far from the water. There are a few Coffee shops that are 5 minutes walking which was amazing. You won’t regret coming in especially if you have a family. 10/10 highly recommend!"

"We loved staying at this place. We stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels a lot, but be aware - this is an old style bungalow motel with a courtyard that has been turned into a Holiday Inn Express. We had an enormous room with a kitchenette that faced a courtyard filled with plants and palms, there is a pool and hot tub. The place is immaculate, and the staff is very nice. One block to Windandsea beach. Looking forward to our next visit!"

"Our trip was great. The location is good for walking to the beach, restaurants and shops. We were on the top floor, and our room was very quiet. Bathroom shower was a little moldy and stinky, but otherwise the room was comfortable. Something I always wonder about when booking hotels is the room door, since some are thin or have gaps at the bottom. Ours was a really solid door that felt really safe and helped it stay quiet."

"Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Breakfast was decent: omelettes, cereal, toast, etc. The pool was a little chilly, but the hot tub was nice. We had a view of the ocean from the third floor, but just barely. There's currently a lot of construction in the area, so it was not exactly quiet. But being only a 5 min walk from the beach was worth it and the price was reasonable."

"I drove from Texas to San Diego with my son for the holidays. This hotel is clean and quiet with very friendly staff. Both of the gentlemen that I spoke to at check in were very friendly and informative (I didn’t catch their names) Later on, I needed a few things and stopped by the lobby. Milina was working and was able to help me find snacks for my son that he would like (he’s picky). She was very helpful, understanding, and saved me a trip to the store! Room and property were clean. Any staff I walked by always said hello/good morning. Will definitely stay here again!"
