"We traveled from Chicago to visit a relative at St Mary’s Hospital. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights…last minute. As an IHG member, booking on the app was simple and convenient. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to see how nice the hotel was. The folks at the front desk were very helpful and welcoming. Christopher checked us in and accommodated our room preferences with ease. He also offered/arranged shuttle service to the hospital…which was super helpful as our group was larger than hospital visitation allowed…eliminating multiple car trips for us. The Manager’s Welcome Reception was a surprise bonus. The rooms were comfortable and clean! On our 2nd evening, we had the pleasure to meet and speak to Sam at the front desk. He couldn’t be more nice and also offered to help arrange a shuttle for our final day. These days, it’s a rarity to find top notch customer service at ANY hotel. So glad we stayed at Holiday Inn Express Central Madison. Highly recommend to anyone needing an affordable and quality stay in the Madison area."

"Wonderful stay!! The room and lobby were spotless and smelled nice and every single person we interacted with at this hotel was SO NICE :) They even texted me the morning of my booking to reach out which was super thoughtful. Next time we're in Madison we'll be sure to stay here again! Our room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable (soft sheets and supportive pillows). I also appreciated the hot shower and Dove soap/shampoo/lotion. The complimentary breakfast was lovely, they even had vegan options (soy milk, oatmeal, peanut butter, and fruit) as well as the classic biscuits, eggs and gravy which suited everyone. I appreciate what a relaxing stay we had."

"Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. It was very clean, everywhere. Front desk staff, Alex, is the best. Every shuttle driver, Shane, Terry, Rhonda, and Sean, were amazing.
