"My family and I wanted to take a moment to share our experience in working with a property management company for the first time in our lives. Furthermore, to share with you how truly exceptional Ms. Patricia Barraza was in helping us find a place to call home. My review is truly overdue, and for that I apologize to Ms. Barraza. We found a place to call home in Camarillo on June of this year. We had previously lived in the same home for 45 years. I am a firm believer that the industry Patty works in is competitive and therefore customer service is key. My family and I were fortunate to have come across a leasing agent who makes you feel like your needs are first priority. If Patty was ever having a bad day or super busy, that never came though via any of our endless communications filled with endless questions. Patty was always very thorough, and I mentioned to her how incredible her responsiveness was. If she was not available, I would always hear back from her no longer than 5 minutes later. Seriously! The cool, calm mindset kept our anxiety low and gave me the confidence I was working with the right property management company. Patty is very knowledgeable of the market; her kindness and just overall good energy made the entire process very relaxing and simple. I worked with other large property management companies in Ventura County. The property management company is only as good as the employes that work for them. No one comes close to what Patty brings to the table. She is truly a gold nugget in anyone who is fortunate to have her as the face of such a service-oriented business. I will say that Patty set my expectations really high and not unrealistically high either. I speak of Patty at Esquire Property Management to anyone that is looking for a new place to call home. "Everyone I have dealt with at Esquire has been absolutely terrific. The entire organization runs in a seamless, professional manner. Every single time I called whoever answered the phone was not only professional, but very helpful and extremely friendly. Marie initially helped me with the application process which was then finalized by Patty and ultimately completed by Tracy. Patty responded immediately whenever I had a question and one time when Patty was out Maria happened to answer the phone and she looked into things for me and like everyone else, she was courteous and professional. Today Diana reminded me to take care of one item I had forgotten about. She handled it by text and like everyone else was professional and very kind. To say that I am impressed by this company is an understatement. They “take care of business” and they do it in a friendly, helpful manner. They fully utilize technology, via texts, emails, telephone calls, and “Docusign.” Highly recommended!!! "Esquire is by far the best property management team I have ever worked with, and it's not even close. They go well above and beyond your typical property management company. For example, my tenant all of a sudden disappeared and was several months behind rent. Turns out that the tenant was in the hospital with a chronic illness. Once Tracy G. found out the hospital, she actually went to visit the tenant in the hospital to see how he was doing. I don't know any company that would do that. Also, because the tenant was behind on rent, we had to file for rental assistance from the state of CA. Maria S. took the lead on this and was relentless on following up with the state to make sure that our application was approved. Ultimately, she got the job done and our application was approved. Thank you so much for your hard work, diligence and customer service, Maria! To sum it up, I highly recommend Esquire if you are in need of a quality property management firm with a team that really cares about you, your tenants and your investment. "Update 7/30/2021: Esquire has continued to amaze me. The team has done an amazing job navigating the pandemic and making sure tenants are taken care of while at the same time looking after the owners. Admittedly I was very afraid at the start of Q2 2020 that tenants would stop paying. But that didn't happen. The reason is because Esquire put in the effort up front to make sure quality tenants with integrity were chosen prior to the pandemic. As a result it has been easier to weather through these tough times. And because Esquire chose good tenants for me, I was able to take back some of the rent money to reinvest in the home so that the tenants have a better living experience. Past notes: I've worked with Esquire Property Management back during their earlier days when Tracy and her team were running the business out of a smaller office in Camarillo. I view Esquire very much as my business partner in managing my real estate assets and helping me move closer to early retirement. The team always put my interests first when I was just starting out. There were times where they told me to walk away from a property because something about it seemed really fishy. Once things became more operational, the Esquire team has done a phenomenal job in ensuring low vacancy and good market rents are collected. They care about the tenant as much as I do, and they always inform me of expenses before spending any money. It's been very painless and stress-free working with Esquire.
