"DO NOT LEASE IN THIS PLACE!!! As other reviews state here at first glance the complex looks amazing, but once you move, the apartments features are cheap, management and agents on-site don't resolve any problem. Their ineptitude to give you a helpful response is amazing. Amenities works a couple of months and then stop working. When I moved amenities were open after 5 months I moved in, when they told me that the following month after I moved will be opened. Now they have about 3 weeks they took out all chairs to sit around the barbecue area and pool area. Also AC and heating was out of service about 1 month and then it was having intermittent failures. Cleaning services that they charged are awful, I reported that the share entrance between the other apartments is very dirty due to the trash valet they charged and is very expensive, trash containers are about 2 minutes walk, but they have never clean with water and soap. Drawers from kitchen are falling apart by themselves due to the poor quality and craftsmanship. As other tenants said excessive charges for unnecessary things make rent so expensive, and add this to the poor office management and agents on-site. Fortunately my lease is ending and I will leave this place. DO NOT LEASE IN THIS PLACE!!!"
"STAY AWAY at all cost!!! Ownership does not care for their tenants, of course they won’t take ownership on their wrong doing. The sound of a new build apartment sounds amazing UNTIL you have a rodent infestation and have to deal with rodents. Unfortunately these buildings were rushed which caused rodents to have easy access around my KITCHEN AREA! One hole behind the fridge and another behind the dishwasher. I informed the leasing office of this since SEPTEMBER 2023, never got addressed with pest control until JANUARY 2024. I was told to wait 4 weeks because they’d ensure the rodent activity would stop after the holes were patched. SURE ENOUGH I knew there still were rodent activity but the managers said there “aren’t any new signs of activity” OF COURSE, they are not the ones living at this apartment so how would they know?!?!?! Ridiculous, after walls being patched there is another rodent caught and it is now 2/24/24. The senior manager, property manager, and ownership was involved and they have not helped at all except by saying they’ll credit my account of two weeks. TWO WEEKS?!?!?! When I’ve been dealing with this for 5 months?! I do not support any Greystar communities at all. Their core values are not implemented at all and they are just out for your money, not your well being. Unless you would like to live in an inhabitable place, then I guess this is the place for you. But for $3200, the headache of this problem, ANDDDDDD risking my health….. heck no!! I’m outta here."
"My experience at Silo Apartment has been far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share my concerns. While the exterior may exude a modern charm, the reality of living here has been marred by a multitude of issues that seem to reflect a rushed and unfinished approach. Let's start with the exorbitant fees. Charging residents for valet and trash services, which together cost more than the price of basic amenities like Wi-Fi, is nothing short of unreasonable. It leaves a bitter taste, especially when coupled with the fact that the promised amenities within our apartment building are still incomplete after five months of residence. What baffles me even more is the apparent mismanagement of priorities. Instead of ensuring essential features like ceiling fans and lights in our bedrooms, the management seems more focused on numbering parking spaces. It raises the question: Shouldn't the interior of our living spaces take precedence over such external details? The move-in package, where I highlighted issues with the state of my apartment, proved to be a futile exercise. Despite reporting concerns about appliances falling apart, there was a glaring lack of follow-up or action from the maintenance team. This negligence is both disappointing and unacceptable. The unresponsiveness of the office staff further adds to the frustration. Attempts to contact them often go unanswered, leaving residents feeling neglected and ignored. It's disheartening to see a lack of commitment to addressing residents' concerns promptly. Furthermore, it's disconcerting to think that California, a state known for its stringent building standards, would allow an apartment complex to be occupied without ensuring that all aspects are completed to a satisfactory standard. The unfinished state of our living spaces leaves me questioning the integrity of the construction and management processes. In conclusion, I am left with no choice but to explore other housing options, especially considering the implications for military members and their families. I hope that management takes these concerns seriously and works towards rectifying the issues at hand. A reevaluation of the pricing structure and a more diligent approach to resident satisfaction are imperative for Silo Apartment Complex to be considered a viable and ethical housing option."
"I move here, but for the price one would expect that amenities would be available already, when they show me the place they gave 1 month period, next another one, and so go on. So far I'm not able to use any of the amenities, management does not take responsibility for it. Problems since I move in that you won't expect when you move to a new building. I can continue with several issues."
"if the price could drop 350 or 400 dollars more i would definitely move to live in this place, i was able to receive a tour and even the location is a little tricky the apartments seemed to be really comfortable and in a quite environment area"
