"That's a nice mouth"
"We have been living in this house for more than 10 years. The wonderful location of the house and the good work of the office staff makes living in this house for us, the elderly, comfortable ... Thank you very much to all the employees who very efficiently ensure the work of all communications in the house and spend with us daily wellness and cultural events."
"Lived here over 15 years. I never want to leave. We live on 15th floor. Our southern view is a million dollar view. We see Mexico, the Bay and the Ocean and Sunsets. Love it here!"
"I have lived at Columbia Tower for almost 7 years. Most of this time there have been situations or conditions which frustrated me, but I have overcome them by concentrating on the major positive points of the facility. The major positive aspects of the facility are quiet and polite neighbors, the right to have a pet, and a beautiful view of the ocean. Things have changed during the last year. At that time, three of their employees were fired. 2 employees were fired for embezelling and one was fired for thievery. The Manager of the Building has not been replaced during this last year. I have endured a bed bug infestation during this last year. An Infestation Company was called and did extermination work one time. The Company did not completely exterminate the bugs. The one remaining office clerk gave me the wrong appointment date for one appointment and failed to give me notice of the third appointment which she had made for me. I was almost charged about $200.00 for this last missed appointment. It has been almost two weeks since the pesticide company discovered I still needed more extermination treatment and still no appointment has been given me for completion of the pesticide treatment. I have a cat, but I managed to crate the cat when I was given notice of the one impending pesticide visit. About ten years ago another building manager managed to get my apartment cleared of bed bugs within several days. At that time I did not have to sleep on the floor, endure bed bugs biting me while I slept, stay sleeping on the floor for a month, have to throw away more than half my furniture, throw away most boxes of my personal history, and endure the stress from knowing that the apartment manager might never arrange for a final clearing of the infestation. I am 75 years old and use a walker. Like most senior residents of this building, I don't have the money to move or good enough health to allow me to move. This acting office manager has had to do the work of two people during the last year. I felt sorry for her for a few months, but it is hard to feel sorry for someone who screws up almost every business transaction she has with you. A final aggravation from this bed bug infestation has been the constant insistence of the acting manager that a permanent manager will arrive. I feel that any reputable business would not take a year to fill a major position, such as this one. I think that this Property Management Company is saving a large amount of money by not filling this job position and will continue to do so reguardlesss of the needs of over a hundred residents. I think this acting manager is free to make as many mistakes as she wants since she is adding to the financial wealth of the company I even experienced three major mistakes when she did my recertification paperwork a few months ago. This building may be a suitable rental if a manager does ever appear but I doubt if one ever will."
