"Beautiful complex with tasteful updates. Lyn, Adreanne, and the maintenance staff have all been equally wonderful. They are communicative, kind and efficient. I am soo thankful my boyfriend and I were able to get into such an exceptional community. We love calling La Serena our new home. This community is a hidden gem with so many amenities. It is conveniently located with so many restaurants, stores, and other amenities less than a 5 min drive away. From the day we submitted our application, Lyn has been in constant communication and ensured we had everything in line to make for a quick and easy move in. La Serena has surpassed our expectations. "Tried to tour today but they didn't have anything to show, not even a vacant apartment that was ready to move in for someone else. White older lady, i think the manager?, was doing paperwork and OBVIOUSLY did not want to tour the property with my boyfriend and I. I work in property management as well and even if we didn't have any vacancies, i would sit down with the prospect and at least give them a tour of the property or at least offer a virtual tour. It was a waste of my time and gas. Fairhousing? I think so."

"La Serena is a wonderful complex. It's a smaller community, very quiet, and the support team is really, really good. Lyn and Adreanne (front office), and Ruben and John (maintenance), have literally responded within minutes of me submitting a ticket. In a couple of specific cases they went out of their way to help me above and beyond what I would ever have expected. The newly remodeled units are comparable with the "luxury" apartments in the Highland Ranch school zone, and cost less. The resident parking spaces are covered and reserved, and are the largest spots I've seen anywhere else. Visitor parking is abundant, and there are even charging stations for electric vehicles. I like the pool area, it is never crowded and my family often has it to ourselves. I also like that the high school and middle school are walking distance. Some units (like mine) have a perfect view of the Rancho Bernardo Fourth of July fireworks show. It is a great community."

"Have lived here for almost two years and intend to stay. My one bedroom unit is comfortable and spacious. The large patio and separate laundry room complete the ideal living space. The lovely grounds are continuously manicured by the landscape team. If a maintenance call is necessary, the response is prompt and professional. Highly recommended La Serena! I am now in my third year at La Serena and couldn’t be happier. Today, is the first time I had an emergency maintenance issue. My laundry room was flooded. It is a Sunday so I had to call the after hours emergency number. John, who was on call, promptly telephoned me, saying he was on his way. Within two hours of my calling, I was back in business!!! John replaced a leaking pipe from my hot water heater and mopped the laundry room floor!!! Excellent service!!!"

"Our experience at La Serena has been outstanding. The complex is situated in a beautiful, quiet and safe location. The controlled access (gated) and convenient parking is a plus! Ground maintenance crews are on site consistently to ensure the outdoor area is neat and presentable. La Serena management and maintenance staff is incredibly friendly. Suggestions and issues are dealt with quickly and courteously. We frequent the pool, hot tub, tennis court, and workout facility; wonderful community amenities that most complexes do not offer. You will not find a better place in RB to call home! Other noteworthy features: in-unit washer and dryer, large patio, suburban feel, beautiful landscape"
