"Love living here! Staff here are incredibly helpful and fast-working! Special thank you to Alannah, who was so on top of things and accommodating when helping me with the move-in process!! Cannot thank her enough and she has been nothing but friendly and welcoming ever since I met her! It's great to know that I have someone I can trust at the leasing office here. The apartment is a great price, a great location, and feels like a warm small community! It feels pretty safe as well and parking is one of the biggest pluses to this complex (which is very hard to find in SD)! These buildings honestly feel a little older and not completely upgraded, but everything functions fine, the living spaces are large, and the new washers/dryers (not in-unit) are very nice! Its central location makes living here especially worth it! Have actually recommended this place to friends living in the area, although I would definitely recommend inquiring months in advance to secure a spot. Overall, it has been an absolute joy living here!! Keep up the great work!"
"I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I lived here for 3 years. Management is careless and lazy. I would call and email them to report repairs needed for my apartment and I would never hear back. I would have to call multiple times until someone would finally answer. Don’t expect a repair to get fixed right away, it takes them months. A few of my packages got stolen by people within the building as well. I called the office to report what has happening and they said they were working on installing cameras. Six months later, and no improvements were made. The carpets are old and full of stains. The washers and driers are constantly needing repairs. You have to go upstairs and downstairs to find a washer and drier that are actually working. When I was finally trying to return my keys, I called the office over 10 times to make sure that they were there to receive my keys and no answer. When I finally pressed the call button for the office and dropped them off, I saw 3 WOMEN in the office doing nothing. They will ignore your call!!! You get what you pay for. Would not recommend this place to anyone."
"I wish I could give them 0 stars. this place sucks. Really old stinky carpets in the hallways, 60 years old appliances, stinky kitchen cabinets. The pool hasn't been open to residents for the past three years. Packages get stolen in the lobby. super slow maintenance. the office staff is rude. Stay away from this place."
"Ok I am updating my review after one year. This place is downright horrible. Do yourself a great service and do not rent here. The prices are outrageously high for what you get. The manager is extremely rude and mean spirited, and quite lazy as well. You’re lucky if the manager even answers the phone. The maintenance man is ok but somewhat inept and indecisive. The people who live here are some of the snobbiest, nosiest, and most grossly petty people I have ever met. They are best compared to the rats that infest the premises. The kind of people that hear a baby’s laugh and it upsets them. Definitely not an environment for families or children. Also you are right down the hill from Linda Vista which is a well known ghetto. Avoid these slummies and move somewhere nice!"
"I'll at least give two stars because we loved the spot that we had, but there were a number of negatives that I have not run into while staying in other locations: - When you are given a walk-through, I would suggest taking pictures for reference. My wife and I were shown an apartment that had stainless steel kitchen appliances and were told that was the available spot, however after giving deposit/first payment, we were given the keys for a different apartment which did not have those upgrades - Tandem parking can be cumbersome - Sandi is very confrontational; she's the main person you end up dealing with (though the rest of the staff is very nice) - Was told there weren't smokers, then after moving in was told there was only one of their apartment complex buildings designated as non-smoking (and it wasn't ours - walking down the 3rd floor hallway would always smell like someone had freshly smoked there) - Safety can be an issue with respect to theft (three cars had been stolen in a single day on one occasion; one of the owners was a sweet lady who lived on the floor below us, never got her car back to my knowledge), though there were never attacks or any threats to physical safety to my knowledge - There was a homeless man who barricaded himself in the laundry room once, so just make sure to always have the entry doors closed (they require key for entry) - No cameras on site to catch culprits... - Make sure to check the hot water for your apartment WHILE WASHING APPLIANCES ARE RUNNING ON YOUR FLOOR - But the pool is clean, tenants are nice, rent was at a great price for San Diego, you get a balcony, and water is included in rent"
