"This review is just in regard to the maintenance team. They alone make this apartment great! I’ve had innumerable requests and concerns that I wasn’t sure would be fixable, but they’ve been at my door within an hour and fix it no problem- every time. They’re also just the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I broke my disposal today, and within an hour- fixed! Thanks for your help guys."

"0/5 I can only do 1 star not 0 but ZERO STARS. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! They did not do a walk through when I moved in and had me drive out into the horrible weather to do a walk through when I moved out and did not show up. They are horrible at communicating and the parking situation there is horrible unless you have a mini coop or are a slim size 0 in womens. The tenants there will keep your packages if they are mistakenly dropped off, and... they NEVER fixed my in unit dryer so my electric bill was high due to that. Make sure you take photos of everything because they charged me so much for "cleaning" a very clean apartment and I owe money to move out. Not only that, but they changed prices based on move out dates without notifying me when I contacted them and proceeded to not help in aid when THEY were the ones who messed up. Go to the complex across the street or down the street by 24Hr fitness but STAY AWAY FROM CARMEL LANDING AND THEIR PROPERTIES UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCREWED OVER AND DEAL WITH RACIST NEIGHBORS WHO COMPLAIN ABOUT YOUR EVERY MOVE."

"Pros: * Maintenance team is good. Requests will be taken care of within a day, and the team is friendly and helpful. * Property is generally clean and well kept. There’s regular upkeep by landscapers, and they recently repainted the whole community. They also upgraded the mail area to accommodate for more packages. I like that there are lots of large trees, even though the pine trees coated our patio in pollen each spring. * Good location - There are restaurants in walking distance, and three grocery stores within a 5 minute drive. * Thick walls - There’s never a sound from adjacent units. * Smart home features - They added smart thermostats, and you can unlock your front door via app or keypad. Cons: * Cheap appliances - None are Energy Star rated, the dishwasher is super loud, and the range doesn’t even have a clock/timer. Also, no microwave and the sink didn’t have a sprayer attachment. * Single pane windows - Poor sound and heat insulation, and your bedroom windows will generate puddles of condensation, so you have to be vigilant for mold. * Smokers - Smoking is allowed inside and out. After our second renewal, we got a neighbor whose cigarette smoke would enter our apartment through our AC vents. The lease states that smoking is allowed as long as it isn’t a nuisance to other tenants. Management made many promises to investigate where it was coming from and to notify the tenants to stop smoking, but there was no follow-through after months of back-and-forth. We were forced to leave our AC off for many, many hot days and nights because turning it on meant our unit was filled with the smell of cigarettes. It was miserable. * Parking spots are narrower than anywhere else I’ve lived. * No ventilation in apartment - The vent above the stove blows air right back out at you instead of being vented to the outdoors. This is also true of the bathroom vents, so no moisture is able to escape and everything in the bathroom will be coated in water after 5 minutes in the shower. You have to be careful about mold. * Amenity issues - More often than not, there were no gas tanks in the grills. The gym is small, and weights are always missing. * Irresponsible pet owners - Many dog owners walk around with unleashed dogs, including pit bulls, which are supposed to be a banned breed at the complex. Also note they obviously have taken up the strategy of padding their reviews with reviews of maintenance team members. Any time you have a maintenance request taken care of, the system prompts you to review the team member and post it on Google. Very dishonest way of hiding reviews of the complex."

"Romeo fixed my closet doors with speed and precision, in record time. My fan didn’t work and fixed it in seconds. My dishwasher was clogged. He fixed it and vacuumed also. He is pleasant and a good listener. Thank you Romeo!"
