"EDIT: I heard there were a lot of car break-ins lately! They should do something but nothing has been done Below was the original review: I have lived in Montierra for three months now. Here are the pros and cons Pros 1. All wood floor 2. High ceiling for second floors 3. Great amenities. Ok gym. Nice pool even though I never use it. Love the tennis court. Very beautiful landscape 4. Friendly staff very quick maintenance service 5. Plenty street parking for guests 6. Brand new appliances 7. Safe neighborhood Cons: 1. some noise, especially if you live next to I15 2. AC very warm in the living room not so warm in the bedroom. 3. No garage. But they charge $25 for the two outside parking spots. 4. Washer and dryer are in the balcony and a little bit old."

"Don't let the amenities, renovated apartments, and "gated community" charm you. There have been many reports of break ins and theft in this community. Many residents have asked to at least put up security camera in the parking lot in hopes to deter crime yet they do nothing. They do not care about the residents' safety or well being."

"Living in Montierra Apartment was an excellent experience. When I moved here my apartment was still classic decorations but now they are renovating all apartment units. Since my unit is a little bit old, sometimes I need to require maintenance service and the service team members are super friendly and professional. They literally replaced the old ones with new washer, refrigerator, and part of the A/C. Leasing office staffs are all amazing, Jennifer and Steven are very kind people and they helped us a lot on paperworks and maintenance services. Unfortunately my roommate is gonna move to New York City and we are unable to stay in this sweet community. I will miss this place and a lot of good memories here."

"I stayed at Montierra with 3 other student roommates in a 2 bd 2 bath unit in 2022-2023. Overall, our time there was nothing but enjoyable. The complex itself is very nice, our apartment unit had no issues, and the dog friendly community is a nice bonus (even though I did not live with a pet). My only minor gripes would be that the basketball court was 50% covered by a storage container and some wood planks pretty much my whole stay (also the rim is pretty noticeably not level), and also there were some periods where the complex would shut off water to the apartments somewhat regularly for maintenance purposes (we would have warning and they usually wouldn't last for more than a couple hours at most). The maintenance team fixed a couple different appliance issues throughout our stay and each time the problems were responded to quickly and the problems were resolved just as fast. Lastly, the leasing staff was excellent as well. Special shout out to Steven who helped us immensely with our move out and worked with us for about a month which helped us reach the best option for our situation. Jennifer and Claudia were also great and helped with the move in process as well as other minor issues we had pop up. I lived in 3 different apartment complexes from 2020-2023 and Montierra was pretty easily my favorite and most accommodating of the bunch."

"Best apartment living I’ve ever experienced. Truly relaxing grounds. Felt like I was coming home to a resort while going through a tough time. What I found most impressive was that I couldn’t hear neighbors through shared walls."
