Whispering Pines Apartments

"The new management that replaced Roxana absolutely ruined the apartment living experience. They somehow manage to be absolute nazis at enforcing every single insignficant rule with no regard for nuance for the resident while being grossly incompetent at their job. All of this is done with a condescending and hostile attitude."

"This place was great when Roxana was the manager. It was so calm and peaceful. We have a new manager that took over, Jamie. I don't know what it is but she's very condescending and rude when she talks to tenants. She has so many demands from all the tenants, but the office is always empty and never replies in the resident portal. Not sure how to handle business. All of the neighbors have shared this experience. Not sure what we did to deserve this, but she's bugging into everyone's business and making life harder for everyone. I get so stressed out to even go talk to Jamie because I have to compose myself. I would've given this place 5 stars if I did this review when Roxana was the manager. BRING BACK ROXANA PLEASE!!"

"I have been living here since 2020 at 4085 Nobel Dr. Everything was good, quiet, clean friendly manager until a new manager came along, running the place with an iron fist. Unfriendly, very abrupt when talking to you. Very rude when talking to people a very bad attitude for business competition is very tight. I’m a 73 y.o. RN, still working due to demand in nursing. I had my plants all this time until she came and now I can’t have them outside my door, no trip hazard, nobody complained about them, they are herbal plants and I get a lot of compliments when my desert roses are in bloom. Plants are therapy to lots of people, especially me after long hours of working in the operating room. I love this place close to my job and conveniently close to places I need. This place has gotten to be a stressful place to live now since Jamie Acevedo came on board. She gives tenants hard time for little things that are being asked for. Very inconsiderate. We missed Janice and Roxana. Thank you for a better living atmosphere again if possible."

"Living at Whispering Pines for a year was an overall great experience. The apartment was very clean, updated, spacious, and at a great price relative to the surrounding market. The deep kitchen sink and large bathroom were great perks. The laundry room was always kept clean and almost always had open machines. I had little to no issues with parking, and they did not make me pay for my parking space unlike some other complexes I have stayed at previously. The management team was always very friendly and helpful, and the maintenance staff were quick and friendly to assist as well. Another great perk of Whispering Pines is that it is very close to the 202/201 bus stops, so it is very convenient to go to UCSD or UTC. It is also the first stop on the 202 bus route so there is never a worry of the bus being full. All in all, I had a wonderful experience at Whispering Pines and would definitely recommend it!"

"Whispering pines has been a great living experience. Management & maintenance are great at keeping the complex clean and appealing. Roxana is the apartment manager, and she is always quick to respond and is helpful when there are any questions or concerns. Rent is reasonable and the apartments are newly renovated, any issues we have had, maintenance are quick to fix and replace. They quickly replaced our sink and a/c unit when we moved in—super positive experience."
