"UPDATE: Jade has taken over as the new manager of the complex. She was able to get an issue that we were fighting for 7 months, resolved in 2 days. Highly recommend working with her for any issues. We attempted to go in a sign a new lease at the end of January and beginning of February roughly 2-3 months in advance because the pricing was $500 less than what we currently pay. We were told they can’t do that and will have to wait. Since then, they have removed the pricing from the website and we just got an email stating they are instead RAISING our rent! For those wondering rental prices were going for $2300 (directly from their website) and now they’re asking for over $2800! And to put that pricing in perspective, there are boarded up apartments on the first floor where they are attempting to keep out the drug dealers and crackheads. Still seeing trash around the buildings as if tenants feel they can just leave garbage around the buildings without a care in the world. Would like to see them start holding tenants accountable for this. I will continue to update this review as these egregious issues continue to occur in the future."

"My partner and I have been living here for a couple of months now and it has overall been great. To be fair, we were pretty hesitant at first because of some of the reviews, but we’re both glad we took the chance. Cassidy was our leasing agent and she was very thorough, we came in multiple times to view the property before we made our decision, and each time she was patient with us and answered all of our questions. If she was annoyed (we were annoying, lol) she never showed it. She was familiar with the area and that helped a lot. Shout out to her for dealing with us and being so nice throughout the entire process, even after we moved in, her and the other staff in the office always appeared eager to help. We may be biased since we’ve only been here for a few months, but personally haven’t experienced any issues with pests or transients on property, and the amenities are great. It took a little longer than we wanted to have our washer and dryer installed in our unit, but they credited us $150 for the month we went without so we can’t complain too much. I will update my review if anything changes, but as for now we would both definitely recommend living here!"

"I am moving to PB in June and I stopped by Bay for a tour. The staff was incredibly helpful and let me know they were unable to provide anything specific on pricing or apartments that would be available at that time but they would be happy to give me a tour. I was working with Jade and then Barbara took me on a tour. The complex was great and I loved the 2 bedroom that I toured. I wanted to be close to the beach and this place was perfect. I toured the competition and one thing I can say is the staff is far more attentive at this place. I had many questions and they took the time for me. I normally do not write reviews but I felt this one was well earned. Bay staff I hope to see you this summer!"

"Met some of my best friends in San Diego here (thus the stars)… I needed temporary, pet friendly housing at the time, and I had low expectations - it worked and I stayed 2 years, though I can’t speak to this as a more permanent situation. Never had to deal with the office much until I had water damage, and it was quite painful communicating with the new management. Squatters, safety and uncontrolled bugs became my main issues in the end. The ongoing airbnb + j1 housing situation, increased rent, theft/crime and mainly management’s lack of response to all of these issues have unfortunately driven away many of the tenants."
