"This has been the worst rental experience of my life. We rent at 621 San Vicente. When we toured the unit, it had brand new appliances and looked good. So we rented for a premium rate. But upon move-in, we discovered the electricity, heat, and internet were not working. Blackouts and a cold apartment our first night. The unit was dirty, too. Then we discovered water damage in the walls, a broken gutter above the unit, and a leaky roof. We let management know about these problems before the rain came...but they didn't fix it in time. Our apartment floods every time it rains. Now there's a mold problem. Between the electrical problems, leaks, mold, and other nightmares it is simply unsafe to live in a unit owned by XYZ Rent. We have had to live in a hotel for most of our occupancy, all while paying full rent. Tenants in the building say that it has been like this for 13 years. Multiple units in our building are in standing water right now and have been like that for days. We've sent multiple letters to XYZ Rent and keep getting excuses and delays on a response."

"Awful scamfest that serves as a hobby business for a struck-it-rich tech bro's mom. Wildly understaffed, incompetent, and dishonest: bougie prices with slumlord practices. Expect to have to take them to court or your city authorities to get basic repairs done. Expect to see police around, because the building management sure won't be. If you can rent anywhere else, flee. If you live in a building she's just bought, may God have mercy on your soul."
