"Water damage post rain with no confirmation of rent being prorated despite the request, entered my unit without permission (explicitly stated do not enter without me present) and started full demo with an hour notice. One star is generous and this is happening in many units throughout the building. Management team (Becca) seems utterly confused on how to provide baseline customer service let alone proper accommodations for a huge inconvenience for many residents. Do better, don’t forget we pay you Gibson."

"Great building to live at with great location and great maintenance. Very quick responses, had a leaky kitchen faucet and they came immediately to replace it. Tech was Danny Flores and he did an awesome job. Appreciate it!"

"The former manager told me the building has structural issues, and after experiencing 6 water leaks in 14 months, I'd say that seems about right. I would not recommend living at The Gibson Santa Monica. 0/10, did not enjoy."

"A nightmare. The previous management company (greystar) and the new one (Bozzuto) have failed to fix the blaring, broken fire panel since I moved in. It’s been 8 months of near-constant ringing on weekends and odd hours of the night. Somehow greystar failed to mention this was an ongoing issue before I signed the lease — oopsie! It’s audible throughout my apartment and others. I am sleeping with earplugs and simply astounded they can get away with this."

"I chose this apartment to live and work remotely because the location is spectacular. A short walk to the beach, groceries, restaurants, and downtown. It has been very convenient and easy to ask for maintenance and navigate special package deliveries. The rooftop has been a nice addition to the apartment complex. I love to spend time on the roof with some friends after work. Management has always been available to answer any of my questions and have been very helpful."
