"If you can help it, do not rent through this company. If you want property managers that genuinely care about their tenants or respond to your concerns there are better companies out there. My husband, friend, and I all lived in a great duplex together for 4 years. For the first 2 we had a great property manager but the owners decided to switch to TREE. Our first interaction with them was waiting over 1 month to get the fan over our oven fixed which took multiple calls and emails as they would never respond back to us. Many issues that needed fixing were deemed “tenant issues” which clearly required a technician. When my husband and I decided to move out, our roommate understandably wanted to stay and get new roommates. When we emailed the company we saw a not so nice email from the manager John which he quickly responded with “time to kick him out.” 4 years of being tenants and this is how we were treated. They eventually allowed him to stay there but only after raising the rent $500. When the time came to move out we offered to replace blinds in 2 rooms that had been broken. They told us to not worry about it and then took $300 out of our deposit for them. From the start they have been a nightmare to work with. I wish I could rate them lower."
