"Its a nice motel, not too far from the beach, food, car wash and super market. The mangement is friendly."

"I called at 1pm to get a room. She told me there is vacancy at 3. I come at 230 and she said her housekeeper didn’t show up so come back at 3. I come back at 3 and the woman said she still hasn’t heard from her housekeeper and she’s not going to clean the room. I asked to clean the room she laughed. Then to top it all off- when I realize she wasn’t going to let me pay $120 just to stay, she called me trash. She opened the door to come attack me , she had to have her husband video tape me , like these people do not want you to stay at their MOTEL. because I’m white im trash? I’m asking to spend a night, giving them money, and right from the beginning she gave me atttitude like she had no intention on renting to me. I have a college degree and work full time in a school. These owners are horrible, don’t spend your money, if they will even let you!!!! No respect whatsoever, I thought she was going to hit me!!!!! It was insane."

"By far the worst hotel I've stayed at. There were many things missing from the room or just broken/messed up. The room smelled terribly of smoke and was not able to be aired out because the windows wouldn't stay open. The toilet was missed the seat making using it very uncomfortable. The lamps were very damaged as well as the love seat (pictured). Will definitely not being staying anywhere near this place."

"Horrible. Not only are the rooms overpriced, they also don't clean them well what so ever. I found this mold growing under the bed that my 3 year old was sleeping on. She was also complaining about how she could smell something funny and developed a cough from it. No sorry from the management, no offer to come clean up or even switch rooms. Don't think about even asking for a refund, won't happen!"

"Just a big waste of a week and money. $564.00 for week. This motel has a lot to be desired. This Motel is in Ventura CA, that was built from what it looks like back in the late 60’s early 70’s. Plaster walls and shows its age. It has been poorly renovated. This Motel I would not recommend to my Dead Grandmother. It is just that bad and a poorly managed motel. First when I checked in the owner questioned my reservation. Once I went to the room. I was hit with old smoke smell (a nonsmoking motel). I asked to be moved to a different room. Management said will work on it. Never offered a different room. Asked multiple times. To go on. They must have inadequate housekeeping (house keeper older woman in late 60’s family member). Why, floors were semi clean, but around the head board and under the bed was dirt and lint. like hasn’t been cleaned in a while. Old furniture ready to break at any time. Afraid to sit in the chair in the room, much less the bed. Advertised that the room had a Microwave and Refrigerator. It did have. But the Microwave did work. But barely. Had to heat food twice as long as needed. And didn’t have a plate for the rotating part in the oven. The Bathroom was just not right. I have never had this problem in a motel ever. The shower curtain had mildew growing on it. That just was then end of it. I was done. I have been a Manager of a large Native American Indian Casino Hotel in the Midwest. If I had ever come across the above issues someone would be without a job. Yes this motel is a family owned property. But there should be no excuse to offer a room to the public that has so many issues. Some of which should be reported to the health department. I should have checked out and moved on. But I paid for a week on my credit card, and if I did leave. I’m afraid the management would not have refunded the money. It would have been a fight to get it back. As you can tell I would never recommend this motel to anyone. I have never stayed in a motel this bad."
