The Kalthom Building Apartments

"I have had the best experience here at Kalthom. Amazing apartments. Clean, up to date appliances and AC. AND THE VIEW! My gosh there is not enough good things to say about Kalthom. Truly living the Luxury life. And of course April! She has been the absolute best manager to have in our corner. She made our transition to apartments as less stressful as possible. She really does go above and beyond. We have moved 2 times now - both to April's properties she is managing. Why I broke my lease with one property to be here where she is. My wife and I just love her. Any time we really needed help with literally anything, not only was she more than happy to do so, but would be extremely quick to get the problem solved. We truly have no worries, when she is in office. And can finally rest a bit knowing we are in good hands! She is not just a manager we have met, I am honored to call her a friend. You are not a number when it comes to being a tenant of Aprils, you feel a sense of care, and belonging. A value most leave at the door when it comes to business. Thank you April for all you do, and look forward to seeing you again."

"Overpriced, heavily sprayed with chemicals and pesticides, and units are allowed to smoke even if you complain. I was lured in by the beautiful ocean views, and the manager is nice, until you have any unit complaints. They will deny them and will target you directly. I do not recommend this complex. For 4k a month for 600 sq feet you should have actual closets, a bath, and your trash taken out for you. Basic accommodation of appreciation. Within one month, I had issues with parties and smoke (these units really get the smells connected to other units bad) and my WD smelled like rodents. If you complain at all, you become their target for retaliation. Beware, and just go anywhere else.Only one star because the hope I had in this complex when we first moved here. The views and the design of brick and metal I actually liked. But thats not enough to keep a resident happy especially when you overprice your rent, and cannot handle an issue properly. Resident Edit: On top of all this, recently more cockroaches seen on property dead on the ground. Including one coming out of the drains (our water systems, gross) and on the lower level where I had assumed they were in the walls and had seen them craawl in and out, all along. Beware."

"Kalthom was a beautiful place to live, you cannot beat the roof top views. But April is really what made it a pleasant experience. She was great to work with even when we had to cut our time there shorter than expected due to a relocation. April helped us in every way she could, and we appreciate it."

"One of the best places to live in Ventura County. I was looking for a place to call home and i found it. Not only are the amenities amazing but management is friendly/helpful. The rooftop has games, refreshments and the apartment complex hosts gatherings up there for the residents! It truly has me feeling apart of the community. Definitely check this place out if your considering moving to the area."

"I am so thankful for April, the manager of the Kalthom Building. Because of her I've had THE BEST experience ever moving into a building. She's a true professional and words can't express my gratitude for her. The building itself speaks for itself, the archeticture is beautiful and their layouts and quality are superb. This building checks every box if your looking for the higher end finishes/appliances/etc. The rooftop is the best in all of Ventura County, it's breath taking up there. The courtyard is just gorgeous and you'll feel a sense of pride just walking to your apartment door. The Kalthom is the place you want to move too, take my word and experience for it. You won't regret it."
