"(WARNING WORST COMPANY IN SANTA BARBARA) HORRIBLE STAFF, Horrible lack of communication, horrible living situations. Constant problems with fire alarms. and floods through the walls everytime it rains. And constant more problems ect... the landlord expects us to deal with the issues ourselves and could care less about tenants rights and won’t break our lease or let us move out. I’m surprised inspectors and the city haven’t shut this place down yet. Worst company I’ve dealt with my entire life and worst living conditions I’ve ever been in. Not up to code whatsoever. Especially for college students that go to school and work please if the city of Santa Barbara is seeing this please shut this place down for the greater good of the tenants"

"Run down, noisy at all hours of the night, dilapidated furniture, broken blinds. We had problems with malfunctioning heater, dishwasher, faucets. Everything takes weeks or months to get fixed, if ever. Grounds have trashed bikes, garbage, cinderblocks. Little landscaping. WiFi frequently down. Apartment was not even clean when we moved in. Maybe close to campus, but very overpriced and awful."

"Parents - Please be aware of Beach City. Management will charge you for a full year lease but only give you 355 days. THIS MEANS YOU ARE PAYING THEM FOR 10 DAYS YOU AREN'T ALLOWED TO USE. When you realize they are doing this to thousands of students, and that they profit more that $300K just off this one scam, you will be floored. In addition, management DOES NOT CARE about the condition of the apartments, despite what they "say". My daughter's apartment was delivered to us dirty, electrical wires hanging off the walls, door knob missing, kitchen drawers with no bottoms, refrigerator shelf missing and cockroach infested. Not once did maintenance respond to our emails and text messages for help. We invested our own money and energy to get the apartment in order before the other girls arrived. All this for $1,125 to share a room in an apartment with little to no hot water, spotty internet, and NO parking. We waited on the parking list for a year and never got a spot! Just know it costs $500+ per tow. Again, it's better to spend your money elsewhere. You will be very disappointed when you realize Beach City is all about making a profit - not about servicing the needs of the students."

"My son has filled out his lease agreement and I have filled out the guarantor lease. I was told my son would receive an invitation to The Rent Cafe. Nothing has come. I have sent several emails asking when the invitation for The Rent Cafe will come. No response . You can’t call because the voicemail says to email. I have emailed and emailed. The communication with Beach City is absolutely awful. Before signing the lease agreements I would get emails from different people telling me different things. All we are trying to do is pay the deposit but yet NO ONE WILL RESPOND TO THE EMAILS!!Why ????"

"I wanted to come on here and share my experience with St. George & Associates. I lived at Beach City and had such a good experience. I made so many friends here that will be with me for the rest of my life. Their events are tons of fun, and I really appreciated the amenities and the distance to SBCC. Also shout out to the people in the leasing office who are always super helpful!"
