Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort

"Right across from the beach!!! Great location. Beds are comfortable. Beautiful grounds with shuffle board, large chess, and other games throughout. The food here is great! There's also restraunts walking distance. State street is about a 15 minute walk. The rooms are spacious and so are the balconies in the larger rooms. No elevators. Older rooms, no smart TV no microwave"

"I stayed here for 2 days and would not stay here again. The rooms are not in the best condition. My shower curtain was dirty (see picture provided), the tub is old, rusty and dirty and the fans and water sprinklers are covered in dust and dirt. One of the sinks in my room wouldn't drain. I had a 2nd sink to use and since I was only there for 2 nights, I decided to stick it out. The hallway to access the rooms is supposed to be locked (in fact, there is a sign saying that its automatically locked) but the door is never locked. For service, the staff are very friendly and helpful but I had a poor experience with ONE person at the front desk when I asked for a late check-out I had to call back multiple times and plead for a check-out 1 hour later and the front deck person made me feel like she went out of her way for a huge effort and that I should consider myself lucky. I didn't appreciate how she made me feel but this is just one individual...the rest of my interaction with the rest of the staff was extremely friendly and a wonderful experience so I still gave the service a 4 star rating (because of everyone else). During the day, you hear the local train horn but at night, there is no train to hear so nothing disrupts your sleep. I would recommend staying at a cleaner hotel."

"Stayed at the Santa Barbara Hilton for a week long get-away. The location is first rate in its beach proximity and grandness of the hotel setting. We were hoping for a quiet suite and must say it was exceptionally quiet and relaxing. Staff are extremely friendly, professional and work to quickly accommodate guest needs. We did not dine at hotel, but did enjoy the complimentary happy hour setting. All around great stay."

"We had a really nice couple of nights at this resort/hotel. This is a very large property, but is in a prime location. We enjoyed that we could just walk across the street to the beach or simply take a 2 minute Uber ride to the downtown area where all the restaurants were located. The room was very large, clean and comfortable. The staff were all welcoming as well. I would recommend anyone staying in the area to stay here as it is a great location. We had an ocean front/view room that had great views of the ocean and sunset every night."

"I've stayed at the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Hotel for business multiple times over the last 10 years. I've had two instances where a face towel has had blood stains, but in 15-20 stays these were the only instances in which any issues have come up regarding cleanliness of the rooms. Anytime I stayed at this hotel I was treated well, but the last two visits were highlighted by the standout attention Jaime at the front desk takes in their approach to hospitality and customer service. In addition to my experiences with Jaime, I've seen how they've interacted with other guests and had a positive affect on each person who they touch. Jaime is the epitome of what service should look like in a competitive hospitality industry."
