"The ONLY thing this place needs is a time machine so you can stay for a lot longer than you had planned! The room was perfect, the location is outstanding and its like they went out of their way to find the most helpful, friendly people on planet earth to be employed here. A special shout out for "Noah" who greets you when you arrive and knew everything about the hotel and the entire area so we asked one question, and he had the answer. I can absolutely guarantee that when I come back to Santa Barbara, I'll be staying here again."

Loved the property, room, staff, free bikes, and that the hotel was super pet friendly. It was our first time in Santa Barbara and we’ll be back thanks in large part to the hotel."

"Our stay at the hotel was fantastic! We had a little confusion with the parking, but the staff was quick to help us out. There is valet parking which they clearly state is $32 for overnight. You get 24hr access to your vehicle and the valet service is top notch. The valet service literally ran to get our car each time and they were all very kind. The only thing we wish was explained better is how you pay or how you are charged for the valet. We asked how we pay to park and the desk stated that it is included in the $50 dollars taken out for incidentals. Totally fine, but then we thought we had to pay an additional $32 for the valet service. However, we asked again later how to pay for the valet and then it was explained that the $32 is taken out of the $50 and the rest of the $50 is used if you buy anything from their market/gift shop. Whatever is not used is then refunded to the card, unless there is other charges that need to be covered. Just thought I would include that break down for anyone who is anxious like me! The hotel is spread out over the block, so you may have to do some walking to get to your room, pool, gym, valet service, etc. This did not bother us, in fact we rather enjoyed the strolls down the sidewalks as they had a great view of the beach. However, if your goal is the pool, or walking is hard for you, you may want to consider asking for a specific room. We got lucky and had a room right next to the pool that has the jacuzzi, so we didn't have to go far to use this amenity. We also LOVED the bikes! Taking the bikes out was a super easy process and the scenic bike path is right across from the hotel. Overall we absolutely will be back again!"

"I called maybe 3 days before my visit to ask for an upgrade. The man who answered the phone promised that my request would be accommodated. When checking in—It wasn’t. I was pretty disappointed when seeing it was not upgraded. I wouldn’t count on their promises. He said it would be taken care of. The room we had was alright. Our main window was facing a walkway so we kept the curtains closed the entire time. However, the room was clean and nice. I was worried about some reviews saying that the rooms needed an overhaul. The bathroom shower only had one sliding door. I’ve never seen that before at a hotel. Usually it’s two doors or shower curtains—never just one door. In the brochure, it states that there are quiet hours. I wish the workers at the desk would emphasize that to all guests when checking in. Someone next door was blasting country music until 12am!! Didn’t sleep much since we had early activities to do. ***VALET CUSTOMER SERVICE*** When pulling up to the valet, we were greeted by all the three valets who were working. The main man who helped us was very knowledgeable about the area and even helped us with some dinner options. The customer service here was top tier. The nicest people on property really."
