"Yazmin was extremely helpful throughout our move. Honestly - the best staff member at The Parks. She should be applauded for her initiative, candidness, and work ethic."
"If you have literally any other option (seriously even a cardboard box might be better), do not move to this dumpster fire of a community. They will ignore you in every possible way, not show up to take care of maintenance issues, then show up at 9pm to say they're there to fix problems, then say "oh just kidding we can't fix that right now", not answer their emergency line, not give you the resources to take care of the things you can do on your own, never answer the phone when you try to get in touch with them, and never repair the neighborhood amenities that have been broken/unable to be used for months. If you do move here, get used to having to go to the office in person even for emergencies, tough luck if you live miles from the office. Giving them one star is an insult to the existence of stars. Oh, and ignore the person who is going to comment on this saying just call us so we can talk about this, because, as mentioned above, they never answer their phones."
"The housing itself is decent and the maintenance is very quick and efficient. The biggest complaint is the move out fees. Highly priced minor fixes including damages that were already there before the initial move-in. It is a sad excuse for housing and you are better off going somewhere else."
"The absolute WORST move out process I have ever experienced. Overall the move in process was normal, the house was relatively clean, there was a drawer missing from the fridge that we were told wasn’t anything to worry about and we could put in a work order if we wanted a new one or just leave it as is. No major issues while living there at all. Then it came to move out. I spent 5 days scrubbing walls, cabinets, floors, repainting with touch up paint, getting new blinds and just completely scrubbing the house top to bottom. At our pre inspection we were told “we won’t go through with a white glove inspection just make sure it’s clean and any large marks on the walls are paired over”. We were charged thousands of dollars at move out. Despite me cleaning and retouching the place with paint. The house was not perfect but it was about 95% move in ready. We did have a dog in the backyard and there was some digging and cleanup needed from him which we full expected to happen. This was $125 which was expected as I said. Upon move out Amber went through the home with a fine tooth comb, she noted the cupboards weren’t clean enough because “even though I can’t see any dirt you can feel that there is a film of grease on them” I scrubbed each and every cupboard and myself did not feel nor see any grease. We were charged $325 for this and because there were little bits of dust and tiny bits of paper still in two of the kitchen drawers. She noted tiny nail sized spots that needed touch up paint and charged us $375 for maybe 5 finger nail or smaller spots throughout the entire home that she said needed painting. We were also charged for the missing fridge drawer despite not having one upon our move in and being told not to worry about it. We were charged $150 for carpet cleaning which is a requirement upon move out for all units even if the unit has old carpet that is going to be replaced. No matter what you will be charged for carpet cleaning (the cost varies based on the size of your unit). We were charged other various fees for minor things that are considered normal wear and tear. It is normal to have some level wear on a home after living in it for 2.5 years. The Parks does not allow for ANY wear and tear at all. None. They will charge you upon move out for everything. The worst part was when Amber said “I don’t know why you’re worried about the money, the military is just gunna pay for it anyways. It’s not like it comes from you guys.” This is absolutely not true, at all. The military does not cover move out costs and we do not get “extra pay” to cover those costs. Those made up charges are taken from our family’s budget. This misguided idea seemed to shock Amber and she seemed confused and almost remorseful for charging us over $1,000 in false move out fees. She seemed to have been trained to charge as much as possible upon move out under the false idea that the military is paying for it and it doesn’t put a financial strain on the families. If you can avoid this place, you should. In fact the military should black list the entire company as they are predatory and are making up charges for military families at move out to create revenue. Absolutely disgusted with the entire company and their lack of morality."
"We had a wonderful experience with all the staff in housing during our entire tour. The staff were professional, courteous, and accommodating. Our maintenance service request were always filled immediately, and the maintenance staff were excellent! Amber Ingram recently checked us out of housing, and went above and beyond to help ensure we had a fair and expedited check out. Everyone's experience and perception is different, but our experience was outstanding with zero complaints from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. Thank you to "The Parks" for making our stay so pleasant! Thank you Amber and Team!"
