"I have been living in Summerhill Park for years and it’s a great place. All the staffs just try to make it as convenient as possible for you. Especially, Sara and Kevin helped me ultimately when I need to transfer to another unit within the same community. I would recommend this place!"
"I lived there for a year. Mixed opinions. Pros: 1. The maintenance staff were great. 2. The location is convenient. 3. A/C, In unit W/D, Fireplace, Smart locks. Modern amenities. Cons: 1. Walls are paper thin. Can hear everything around you. 2. Barely any insulation. It gets super cold in winter and super hot in summer inside the apartment. 3. Management staff are sometimes hard to reach and are rarely on site. 4. Management staff increase rent significantly (10%) 5. The floor plan didn't make complete sense (at least to me)"
"I had to look for a 1BR with a very short notice. I found Summerhill Park apartments having good reviews and close to my office. Once I confirmed the availability of a 1BR apartment, I managed to schedule a tour same day. I liked the complex, neighborhood and the apartment. The following day, I decided to go with that option, and I worked all day with the great team member, Tamara, who helped me throughout the entire process. She worked very hard to make the application process smooth and she was very responsive and answered all my questions clearly and on a timely manner. Without her support, I would not be able to move into the unit next day. Regarding the unit, it was very clean, recently renovated with no issues. The maintenance team members were inspecting the unit when I moved in. I really would like to thank Tamara for being very supportive, friendly and for facilitating the smooth, quick and hassle-free move-in process. Highly recommended :)"
"Nice apartments with a fantastic staff. We have lived here quite a few years, and the front office people Edgar and Jessica (and previously Anthony) have gone way above and beyond to help us multiple times when unforeseen circumstances came up. Rene and the maintenance staff are super responsive and have fixed anything from appliances to cabinets in 24 hours or less. When we moved out (and later moved back!), the deposits, fees, and rent were all very reasonable for the area. The staff treats pets extremely well too. Can't beat the location by the park either."
"We had a terrible 2 year experience at Summerhill Park. Be careful before renting this place. I will list my pros and cons and you can decide for yourself whether you want to live here. Pros: 1. Very close to MTV/SNV offices. 2. Buildings 1&9 (esp 9) have great view of Encinal Park. Cons: 1. Maintenance is non existent. Esp. during COVID you will not get anything done. We had our diswasher broken and they were not ready to fix it. I had to call multiple people to get it fixed. Our refrigerator broke (pre COVID) just a week after we moved in, and they at first did not want to replace it and then they tried replacing it with a dilapidated one. And I can guarantee you things will break. 1a. I have multiple such experiences to recount. They use electronic door locks. Ours died in the middle of the night when we were returning from a trip with 2 small kids(2yrs & 6 months). When we called the emergency line, they said that this is not an emergency request, so get a locksmith to fix it. 2. Rent increase: Now that you are locked in, the rent increase will be 5-7% minimum and no negotiation. They know that people rarely move out of apartments because of rent increase. 3. Value for money. Definitely not worth for what they are charging. They were charging us luxury apartment rents but all we got were bad building, and terrible maintenance. 4. Walls are very thin. You can hear what the people in the next apartment are watching or are talking. 5. Noises. Aircraft noises from Mofett, construction work around. 6. Moving out costs: They are exorbitant. And there will be a very limited explanation of the charges. Now that you've moved out, you will not be able to reach out to anyone for your questions/clarification. 7. If you have pollen allergies, be sure to stay away from this place."
