"I switched rooms twice, only to find a cockroach in the last room! First room smelled like sewage. Second room had a chirping fire alarm. Third room had a cockroach in it! The staff was all very nice and friendly though!"
"5 stars to Yesi at the front desk. She is very accommodating. I requested a room in a quieter area. She gave me choices and helped me choose a right one. She is very responsive and good at follow-up. Good liens. The hotel is under renovation. Noise during daytime. The breakfast is very basic."
"Ongoing renovations lower my rating- ugly temp lobby, frequent loud noises and power tools are stressful. Underwhelming breakfast is just bread, fruit, juice, and yogurt cups. Otherwise the rooms are nice, decor cute, and central pool & tub look great."
"To be honest, when my husband and I drove up to this hotel I was not impressed and was trying to think of how we might either get our prepaid money back or just take a loss and go elsewhere. It didn't help that we mistakenly choose a hotel that was much further from our event venue than we estimated. We are generally accustomed to staying in high end hotels, with great accommodations. However, we have never stayed in this area before and I rushed to make our reservations since it was just one night with the majority of our stay being away from the hotel. My mind was made up to not stay here until - I met Quentin! Immediately, he made us feel right at home with his welcoming smile, kind demeanor and friendly conversation. We talked about the concert we were attending that evening and we felt at ease sharing with someone who seemed like we had known for years and not someone we had just met for the first. The room was surprisingly quaint and definitely sufficient for our stay. I am always delighted to find a small fridge and microwave for convenience in a hotel room. There may be a few things that we didn't feel great about like the gap under the door and the lack of privacy in the bathroom when opening the front door but great customer service can melt away these minor concerns when it is as outstanding as Quentin's! He's definitely a keeper and certainly elevates this location to a new level. I must say, all the staff was wonderful and I appreciated that when I asked for some dwindling oatmeal items during the complimentary breakfast that it was brought out immediately and without hesitation. Thanks again Quentin for turning a bad perception into a nice stay!"
