"I had a great time living at The Shadows for 2 years. Friendly staff, maintenance is quick, clean lawn, common areas and gym, an apartment with working appliances. Very convenient location, extremely close to 101 and the Google office buildings in Mountain View."
"Very well-managed place! I lived here for 1.5 years and was very happy: - Never had significant maintenance issues and the maintenance team was very responsive for the minor things. - The leasing team is super friendly and answers calls/emails right away - The neighborhood is conveniently located near main roads but quiet enough that it's not loud. I frequently went for relaxing walks around the area - The amenities are pleasant, especially since there is both an indoor & outdoor gym"
"Beautiful complex with spacious apartments, nice amenities and an external storage unit per apartment to store bikes. Very well kept property and pretty quiet. Staff is wonderful and very responsive. Also great for kids: 2 swimming pools, small playground, complex is close to schools, public tennis courts and area is safe. -1* for only offering 12-months lease contract, we wanted to change apartments after 1 year to a 6-months lease contract but this was not possible. Nevertheless, we would come back anytime to The Shadows!"
"I lived there a few years ago and interacted with the managers Kathleen and Jennifer. Jennifer is quite nice, helpful. She even offered to help us a bit when we move. Kathleen is quite rude and mean: she refused to write a reference when we want to apply for a new apartment after our lease ends. We are good residents (didn't even schedule any repairs, no complain against us, didn't file any complain against others either) because she is too busy with a project."
"Moving out of the shadows after 3 years. I've lived in both a 2 bed 1 bath floor plan and a 3 bed 2 bath. The apartment community is nice. The complex has duplicates of most amenities. The apartments are in good condition. It's within walking distance of Safeway. My only gripe is that pets aren't allowed. That being said, I recognize this can be a major draw for anyone with allergies. The pools are well maintained, but close from October to March. The community itself is very quiet. Edit: removed use of semicolon"
