"Overall experience was ok. Bed were comfortable but carpets would need a good real cleaning. Pictures of the hotel should be updated as there's no pool anymore and real hot breakfasts are not served."

"Somewhat convenient for the Google campus but otherwise a pretty basic motel with little to recommend it. A little run down but clean and everything in working order with no major issues. Perfectly acceptable but nothing special."

"Rooms are not clean, and if you complain, you better be ready to have the cops called on you because the staff cant take being confronted about how they run their establishment. Coffee grounds left in coffee pot, stains on the floor , and poop in the toilet. And had to have police come so j could get my stuff out of the hotel room as they also tried to call the police on us because we hurt their feelings. Police arrived, they made them open the door and i was able to leave, late for work of course . I usually stay at the ramada in Sunnyvale but they were all booked up. So though this place would have the same kind of service and quality, big mistake. I wish i had my money back!"

"Stayed here for a night because it was only a 9 minute drive to shoreline amphitheater. We were close to a couple connivence stores as well so it worked out nicely. Looked tidy, and the breakfast was nice."

"This is a difficult experience to rate, due to some very unusual circumstances. When I pulled up with my partner and my 6-year-old daughter, there were 3 Mountain View police vehicles on the road outside the hotel. There were 3 more in the parking lot as we turned in. The office was locked, but the staff opened up for us to check in. We were told that there was a domestic issue with some long-term residents in the complex and that the police were talking to one of the participants. This was apparently not the first incident with them. We were told the response (which included a K-9 unit) was typical for the police. The room we were given (which was the only room with the 2 beds we required) was, incidentally, 2 doors down from where the police were deployed. After confirming with an officer that the situation was safe, he asked that we give them a few minutes to wrap up. 30 went by. The hotel staff was friendly and showed me an alternate way to the room, which involved walking over an unlit narrow dirt path between the building and the wall of the complex. A firetruck and ambulance showed up as well, as the disturbance had now seemed to become a medical issue. We were finally escorted by an officer to our room. Of the 2 beds, one was obviously slept in and unclean and there were used towels on the counter. I went back to the front desk and the staff came with me to the room and was surprised to find that it had not been cleaned. He left to see what options were available. After a few minutes we were offered 2 rooms (one for free) to accommodate us. We declined and were instead provided a full refund without fees. The good: -The location is very convenient -The front desk staff really was quite helpful and very friendly -Had the room been clean, it would have been perfectly adequate, albeit a bit dated -The police officers on the scene were very professional. Once the situation was explained to us, we did feel comfortable staying. The bad: -As other reviewers have pointed out, the Google listing is out-of-date and there is no longer a pool (this was a big one for my daughter) -There certainly seems to be a housekeeping disconnect where the staff is unaware of the status of rooms -Allowing long-term residents to stay who have had prior incidents requiring a police response is (to me) a baffling choice. I'm sure there are other factors involved in the decision, but pulling up to that was a horrible first impression and immediately made us question our safety. Overall: If we had arrived at probably any other time and been given a clean room, I would have little to say aside from the pool not being as expected. You can try your luck if on a budget and hope for a better experience and, honestly, I suspect you would have one. Front desk service is 5/5. the 3/5 rating is reflective of the failure of housekeeping. The 3 stars off for the room are purely for cleanliness."
