"[Edit #1] today is Mar 7, 2024: elevator is broken again. And icing on the cake, the stairs near the elevator were locked. Ridiculous! Back to 1 star, very disappointing [Edit #2] Today is Feb 11, 2024: elevator is not working again. I’ll continue to update my review each time this happens. Fair warning to new residents! [Edit] Update as of Nov 2023: elevator has not gone down for a while now, so (cautiously) updating my review up to 3 stars. The Cons of this property now outweigh the Pros. When we first moved in 2 years ago, we loved the place because of the proximity to downtown, the clean units, and great maintenance (especially Fausto). But especially since the new management, there have been more issues with responsiveness and general communication with tenants. Our biggest grief is that the elevator of our building has been out of service at least 6 times since Nov 2021 (checked all my emails). Most recently, this happened yesterday and because there isn’t a second elevator in the building, we had to lug 4 big suitcases up to the top floor by stairs. For the kind of rent we pay, this should not be a recurring issue we have to deal with. Speaking of rent, the extra mandatory water/sewer/trash charges are quite high (this has been the case even with the old management) so assume your rent is going to be higher than it shows. Just a heads up!"

"Scheduled an appointment to tour last Thursday, I arrive and no one is even in the office. I then call the phone and get a remote agent that hangs up on me and another that says “oh we don’t have a file for you and no appointments left for today. So you can come back” I drove all the way from San Diego. Really bad follow up and guest service. Standing in the cold for over half an hour for nothing."

"This apartment complex is everything that I was looking for when shopping for a place. It’s nice and modern, clean, well maintained, and the neighbors have all been great! Sonia Perez was fantastic with helping me find a place and guiding me through the leasing application process. She made me feel welcomed and helped me finalize making Elan my new home."

"Please avoid this property. I have been living here since August 2021. The first year was great and I would’ve given this property 5 stars if asked to review. However, the nightmare starts this August. At first, a bunch of storages at P2 got broken in. We asked the leasing office and the reply was always ‘under investigation’. No surveillance camera around so the best we could do was to file a police report and got reimbursed from renters insurance. And then, the mail room’s lock was broken and still not fixed as of today. If the handle is not lifted 100% horizontal, anyone can open the door. No wonder why I left several packages, including a credit card which got multiple fraud transactions. Additionally, the elevator at 1030 broke twice within a month. It took them over a week to fix at the first time and a few days at the second. Last but not least, today my storage unit got broken in AGAIN. We changed the lock, so this time the whole door was damaged. I couldn’t believe it happened twice within two months. I feel very unsafe and worried if my car or even my apartment could be the next target. Please try your best to avoid this property. It’s very bad management especially given the super expensive rent we pay."
