"This hotel is disgusting. The overwhelming smell of pine sol when you first enter the room made my eyes water. Had to keep the door open for an hour to air it out. The beds are visibly bowing in the middle. The center table was falling apart and very unstable. Paint peeling everywhere. Chipped furniture. Stains on bathroom counters. Room keys didn’t work after the first night. Had to be re-keyed. And they power washed the second floor hallway raining down all over my car parked in the parking lot. Crack heads arguing in the parking lot until 2am on a Sunday. When we found cockroaches in the morning we couldn’t get out of there faster. Never again. If I could give less than one star I would."
"Blessed day, I am a part of a freedom movement called The Peoples Convoy and I decided to get a hotel here in San Diego after convoying across the nation from DC to California. I decided to get a hotel to work on business with the convoy, get a good nights rest and a hot shower. Well, I paid $261 for two nights (which that was with my military discount) and this is what it looks like. What does it feel like? Not like a home, not like I’d want to be. Now what does the mattress or bed looks like? So far, so good but I have experienced bed bugs also and I can tell you my ankles are already itching and I’m not sure why and I do not feel comfortable being barefooted. My car is cleaner than this room and again I have been convoying across the nation and even a month prior to coming out to California from DC. The best thing of the room is the TV which probably has a higher value then the entire room. I’m basically paying for a LG TV and not to mention no WiFi like I needed and the customer service was lackluster and could had been a bit more lively and friendly. I am not happy whatsoever and even though I bought two nights, I’d rather stay at a hostel private room then this, I have this two stars simply out kindness and hope they will resolve their atrocities!! I would like money back but I am highly doubting that’ll be possible and may God keep me safe and keep me from any harm but I am telling y’all this don’t think the carpet has been cleaned and I swear there is something biting me. I wish I would of known better prior to making a reservation, I demand recompense and this review will be posted on all platforms."
"Cleaner than prior reviews suggested. Didn't see any homeless or drug addicts hanging out in the lot either. My room didn't have a microwave but it did have a functioning and clean mini-fridge. Water pressure was strong and stayed hot. The bed had 3 pillows of differing firmness and sizes for people who have different preferences. I found the mattress to be comfortable as well. The room was dated and could use a fresh coat of paint but was perfectly acceptable. I would recommend staying here if you need an inexpensive (for the area) place to crash near downtown."
"The absolute worst hotel experience I have ever had. The carpet was damp, the shower was full of hair and chipped plastic, I cut my feet on it when I tried to take a shower, the toilet was broken and couldn’t flush, there was hair in the bed and in the towels. We tried to get someone to fix the toilet 3 times and they couldn’t fix it but they wouldn’t let us switch rooms. The people were very friendly but the hotel itself was absolutely disgusting. We were supposed to stay for 5 nights and had to leave after just one because it was so bad. No one came to clean the room and there’s no amenities. Again, the people were nice, but the rooms were gross and falling apart. My coworker was staying next door and had a similar experience."
