"Absolutely horrible! Worse than a motel yet priced like the better hotels next to it. The toilet didn't work at all!? So we couldn't flush. I checked the water valve and it was completely open but no water running. So I used the ice bucket to manually fill the toilet tank, but the flapper also leaked making filling the tank an even bigger hassle. There was no hot water in the sinks regardless of a hot water knob. So I checked the shower, it eventually got hot. Thank goodness. Luckily we were only here one night as a family. Booked this hotel because of a separate "room" with the family room "suite." However there is no door or privacy between the rooms. It's just an opening and partial wall as division between the bunk beds and queen bed. Noisy, no room insulation. We could hear every step of the room above us and the rooms next to us. Out dated and dirty. There was hair on the shower walls, paint on the shower fixtures, broken old caulking all over, etc. Parking is very limited even after paying for it. The only positive was leaving and being close to the shopping center across the street. Take your family to the brand hotels down the road. At least there's consistency in the brand quality."

"We stayed here just this weekend it was a one night stay that we booked for a steal. The main thing is location it's close to everything we wanted to do so if you want to dash from clairmont and back i wouldn't recommended it but you're close to Balboa and Sea World and the Beaches. The rooms were spacious modestly accommodated but could have used an extra dusting and mopping, still, not bad for the space. I was disappointed the breakfast room was closed and how little equipment there was in the gym but I still used it so Thanks. Service staff was courteous, friendly. I would highly recommend if you can book for less than 120."

"NOT CLEAN! Nothing looks like the pictures presented. What they've posted must be highly edited. The couch is disgusting. It smells musty and out dated. The sink leaks water when using. ALSO, there is NO BREAKFAST although it is advertised on their website and every where else. We are looking up other hotels in the area - which really puts us out!"

"Horribly false advertised. Very shabby and run down hotel. No breakfast is offered, not even coffee in the lobby. None of the machines in the “fitness center” worked. Jacuzzi was ice cold. Showers were only barely warm. No hot water in the sink. Air conditioner leaked water all over the floor of our room. $15 per day charge just for parking on the premises, even though this is not advertised anywhere on the website. Front desk ladies act as though they are bothered by you. Beds are comfortable, it will do in a pinch for a low price but don’t expect any of the advertised amenities, or you will be disappointed."

"Decent place to stay. Our room was clean and there was parking, although there was an additional fee. The Web site mentioned it so it wasn't a surprise. The fridge is adequate, small microwave. The room coffee is awful and the breakfast coffee was a little better. They had the standard LQ breakfast food, but we decided to go out to eat breakfast. There are so many great places with a 10 minute drive to eat. I was disappointed that housekeeping didn't get the trash or restock the towels every day or two, but we called down to the desk and someone took care of it right away. We would stay here again if we were in this area"
