"The location is right on mission blvd and is a great location. We also enjoyed the particular room which is in a block of 3 rooms which are 10/11/12. We had 11 and it was nice except the brown stain on the toilet, and the tv was unplugged, and 1 light had to be switched to a different outlet because the outlet was not working."

"I stayed here with my Golden Retriever in November 2022 and loved it. We had a second floor room with a view to the south and of the beach, a half block to the west. The room was bright and airy and comfortable with plenty of room and the daily rate was very reasonable. I was so impressed, that I returned this week and brought my husband, too. When we opened the door to our room, it did not meet the same standard from the previous stay, even at a similar room rate as last year. The room was smaller, darker and lacked any view. I returned to the front desk and asked whether any rooms on the second floor and with a similar view as I described above were available. The front desk agent checked and found that just such a room was available and that it came with a walk-in special rate that was less than half the rate as my reserved room. I would have been very happy to get the room without the special rate, but they honored the special rate anyway! I will always come back to this hotel when I visit San Diego. Thank you Pacific Shores Inn for making my stays here so wonderful."

"The best parts about this place were the: staff, parking available, and location. The front staff were incredibly nice and made the stay a lot better. The rooms were very clean, which helped a bunch with my asthma. Beds were stiff but not terrible. Pillows weren't great. But the thing that bothered me the most, especially having been by myself, was how thin the walls were. I couldn't sleep at all because I could hear everything and staying alone in the place freaked me out because it genuinely sounded like there were people in my room when it was just the neighboring rooms near by or kids walking down the street along the beach line."
