"On the outside, the hotel looked fun and very welcoming! The room was clean and made up daily. The bed was really comfortable, and an effective air-conditioning meant that the temperature was always right. The bathroom was clean, and hot water came on very quickly. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were also provided, so there is no need to fret if you ran low. There was wireless Internet access as well, so if your data ran low, or if you just want to supplement your own data plan, that was a pretty decent backup. Overall, I have no complaints about the room. The hotel was quiet, smoke-free (we had a non-smoking room, but didn't smell any hint of smoke anywhere), and very clean. Definitely a recommendation for this hotel!"

"I’ve stayed here a couple of times and it has always been a good experience. The staff are kind and helpful. The waffle spot is awesome and has great customer service. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool is super cute. The walls are a bit thin so it can get a little noisy, but that’s my only complaint and you will get that almost anywhere. Great value, great location, will likely stay here again!"

"This is everything you'd expect a 2 star hotel would be. Firm spring mattresses, very light blankets, a heater set to 72 that you cannot change. Although the staff was very nice, and the dinner restaurant had great food I would not stay here again. The walls are paper thin. You could hear your neighbor flushing the toilet and washing their hands. I was on the main level and you could hear kids playing in the pool. Doors slamming shut. Street noise. Only a beer could help me sleep."

"I would say the location is really good to be around for most of San Diego’s popular location. We were within 10-15 minutes from downtown to the north park and airport. Check in and check out is relatively easy. I wish they did include parking with the reservation just because we did have a rental. The pool was closed but we didn’t use it anyways. The rooms were relatively clean but it does have this musky odor atmosphere. Perhaps changing the ventilation or some thing would improve that. Also, really bizarre that the microwave is in the laundry, I feel like it makes more sense to leave it in the lobby? It also has two restaurants attached the lobby. Unfortunately you don’t get free but you do get a 10% discount. The breakfast spot I would recommend. Overall it’s a inexpensive stay for a short time, didn’t need to get anything too fancy."

"The rooms were clean and look good, along with the bathroom and laundry room. The lobby was also quite nice. The location is really good, given there is a store and two restaurants inside of it, but there are also restaurants, convenience stores, and a liquor store nearby for those who drink. The service was great as well. The rooms were cleaned properly, the staff were very nice and helpful, and it made the stay more enjoyable. The one issue I can see is the lack of a gym for those who work out, but even then it's not a big issue. Poop, amazing. Hot tub, amazing. I highly recommend this place for a single person, a couple, family, group, or whoever you'd be with"
